About this project

What does Senderchest add?

Senderchest is a secure linked-storage and item-transport mod for NeoForge 1.21.1. Pair senderchests with ender pearls, load them with cargo and swap inventories between connected senderchests eliminating the need of having to physically travel between them.

Senderchests support multiple connections, trusted-player access controls, persistent identity and inventory when broken, redstone interaction, configurable remote swapping, and dimensional upgrades for cross-dimensional transport. Each chest can be upgraded independently, making the system useful for everything from small personal bases to larger multiplayer storage and logistics networks.

The mod is designed to feel like a natural extension of Minecraft’s ender mechanics rather than a traditional pipe or automation network: simple to use, expensive enough to matter, and powerful without requiring constant chunk loading or heavy background processing.

Senderchest is also designed to be a lightweight mod as we allocated a significant part of the development process to make sure having many senderchests active on a server wasn't going to hamper the overall performance of the host and therefore make the experience worse in any way for the players involved.

It is designed to be used on servers that don't have instant travel mechanics like waystones.

We have cosmetic plans for the senderchest in the future as well as design implementations, but we hope you enjoy this mod until the next beta and eventual full release.

Any feedback is welcome and thank you :)
