About this project
What does Ash Of Sin: Spawn Rites add?
Ash Of Sin: Spawn Rites

It turns the most uncontrollable part of vanilla — natural mob spawning — into writable, hot-reloadable datapack rules
- Banish — forbid chosen creatures from ever spawning naturally;
- Ordain — restrict which creatures may appear per dimension, biome, structure or placed feature, including per-dimension whitelists ("only these may spawn here");
- Exempt — let chosen creatures spawn regardless of biome and light, appearing against the natural order;
- Bound — cap how many of the same creature may exist near each player at once, keeping spawn density in check.
Rules are written as JSON under data/<namespace>/spawn_rules/ — one file per creature or per dimension keeps every adjustment legible — and the /spawnrites command inspects the verdict for any creature at any position, including the reason for denial. The datapack is the law; the law is the ecosystem.
