Under the Bed

Under the Bed is a horror and survival mod that allows players to hide underneath beds and avoid detection from Minecraft's vanilla mobs.

The mod now includes optional integration with Simple Voice Chat, adding a new noise-based detection system for a more immersive horror experience.

🛏️ Hiding

Hide underneath a bed by sneaking (Shift) and interacting with it.

While hiding:

Vanilla Minecraft mobs cannot detect you.
Press Spacebar to leave your hiding spot.
Your player is positioned underneath the bed.
The hiding mechanic works with different bed orientations.

🎙️ Voice Chat Integration

If Simple Voice Chat is detected in your mods folder, additional noise mechanics are automatically enabled.

While hiding, a noise bar will appear. Making too much noise can alert nearby mobs.

🐑 Passive mobs: If they detect your noise, they will flee up to 20 blocks away.
👹 Hostile mobs: If they detect you, they will run toward your bed and break it, forcing you out of hiding.
🔊 The /noice <number> command allows you to control your noise level from 0 to 10.

Simple Voice Chat is completely optional. The mod does not depend on it. Without Voice Chat installed, Under the Bed simply uses its normal hiding mechanics.

⚙️ Controls

Shift + Right Click on a bed: Hide underneath the bed.
Spacebar: Leave the hiding spot.
/noice <number>: Set your noise level from 0 to 10.
