Kaelo's Ruinbound adds ruins that fight back: three buildings in your world, four bosses that show every blow before it lands, and the gear they guard.

Forge 1.20.1 · requires Curios API. Better Combat, Apotheosis and Iron's Spellbooks are supported and optional. Formerly Kaelo's Content.

Where to find them:

• Ruined Forge — plains, forests, taiga, meadows. A workshop on the surface and a sealed hall beneath it: the Last Oath Smith.
• Astral Observatory — plains, meadows, savanna, snowy plains, desert. Two broken rings turn in the sky above it: the Star Devourer.
• Void Tear — plains, badlands, savanna, hills, snowy plains. A bowl sunk into the ground with an altar at the bottom: the Void Elemental, behind the Rift Warden.
• Kaelo, the Fallen is not found — he is summoned by whoever carries a Legacy Core.

Every building has an eye that points the way to it, and they keep clear of L_Ender's Cataclysm's own buildings, so neither cuts the other in half.

Boss Descriptions:

The Star Devourer — a serpent of crystal plate with a star in its mouth, and it flies. A Star Prism set beneath the rings calls it down. Thirteen attacks chosen by weight: a bite that lunges to where you stand, a tail that rises like a scorpion's and slams down, supernova rings to jump, a meteor dive, and a bite that carries you into the sky — hit its head and it lets go.

Half health is an event: lightning runs from the rings, stars fall across the arena, and then the Constellation is drawn on the floor star by star and lit all at once. Every miss fills a bar of rage. When it dies, the rings pull it apart into a star that falls and shatters where the loot is.

The Last Oath Smith — three defenders hold the workshop; the gate opens when the last one falls, and the anvil below takes a flame essence by hand. He shows every overhead blow as a ring on the floor and keeps aiming through the wind-up, so stepping aside early does nothing. Every slam leaves the floor molten. At 60 % he drags a red-hot hammer — sweeping cuts, a fissure, a chain that hauls you into the strike — and at a quarter he burns White Hot.

The Void Elemental — he cannot be hurt while a rift is open. You close the rifts on foot, and when the last one shuts his core opens for eight seconds. He strikes only those who are not at a rift. Three waves and the Rift Warden come first; later he inhales the idle towards him, slams his core shut on whoever lingered, and in the last phase an Eclipse of three beams sweeps the bowl.

Kaelo, the Fallen — a three-act duel. A ring tightens around him and its colour is the whole lesson: soul fire means move, white sparks mean do not hit him. One of his moves is yours: he answers with your own blade's ability.

Rewards:

• A ladder of cores. Every boss core can also be crafted the long way — the boss is the quicker road. Three of them make the Legacy Core, and the Legacy Core summons Kaelo.
• Twenty-three blades, each with its own model, Better Combat swing set and ability.
• The Oath Forge forges an Oath Seal (right-click it with two tempered ingots and a flame essence in your inventory). A seal fuses a sworn pair at a smithing table into one blade with both halves' effects and enchantments.
• Eight armour sets built as layered plate, each with a passive that suits its metal.
• Curios: a crown, three rings, seven amulets and four shields.

Rules and Config:

• Every blow is one beat — the hit, the sound, the shake and the light land on the same tick.
• Heavy blows break a raised shield for five seconds.
• Control effects — slowness, levitation, weakness and the like — do not stick to bosses. Damage over time does.
• Each boss has its own fight music, which silences the background music while it plays.
• config/kaelos_content-common.toml: health and damage multipliers for every boss, the Devourer's extra health per player, shield breaking and effect immunity on or off.

Take it, no need to ask. Unmodified, in any pack — public or private, free or paid. Credit is appreciated, not required. Re-uploads and public forks are not allowed.

• Воронка — равнины, пустоши, саванна, холмы, снежные равнины. Чаша, ушедшая в землю, с алтарём на дне: Элементаль Бездны, а перед ним Варден Разлома.
• Павшего Кейло не находят — его призывает тот, у кого есть Ядро наследия.

К каждой постройке ведёт свой глаз, а с постройками L_Ender's Cataclysm наши держат дистанцию и не режут друг друга пополам.

Боссы:

Звёздный Пожиратель — змей из хрустальных пластин со звездой в пасти, и он летает. Звёздная призма под кольцами зовёт его вниз. Тринадцать атак по весам: укус с выпадом туда, где ты стоишь, хвост, который встаёт скорпионом и бьёт сверху, кольца сверхновой, через которые прыгают, метеорный нырок и укус, который уносит тебя в небо — ударь его по голове, и он отпустит.

Половина здоровья — событие: из колец бьют молнии, по арене падают звёзды, а потом на полу звезда за звездой чертится Созвездие и вспыхивает разом. Каждый его промах копит ярость. Умирая, он распадается в кольцах на звезду, которая падает и раскалывается там, где лежит добыча.

Кузнец Последней Клятвы — мастерскую держат трое защитников; ворота уходят в пол, когда падает последний, а наковальня внизу принимает эссенцию пламени из рук. Каждый удар сверху он показывает кольцом на полу и доводит прицел до самого удара, так что уйти заранее не выйдет. После каждого удара пол остаётся раскалённым. На 60 % он волочит раскалённый молот — размашистые удары, трещина по земле, цепь, которая подтягивает тебя под удар, — а на четверти здоровья раскаляется добела.

Элементаль Бездны — пока открыт разлом, ему нельзя навредить. Разломы закрывают ногами, и когда закрыт последний, его ядро раскрывается на восемь секунд. Бьёт он только тех, кто не у разлома. Сначала три волны и Варден Разлома; позже он втягивает бездельников к себе, захлопывает ядро на тех, кто задержался, а в последней фазе чашу метут три луча Затмения.

Павший Кейло — дуэль в три акта. Вокруг него сжимается кольцо, и его цвет — весь урок: адское пламя значит отойди, белые искры — не бей. А один из его ходов — твой: он отвечает способностью твоего же клинка.

Награды:

• Лестница ядер. Любое ядро босса можно скрафтить и долгим путём — босс просто короче. Из трёх собирается Ядро наследия, а оно призывает Кейло.
• Двадцать три клинка, у каждого своя модель, связка ударов Better Combat и способность.
• Горн Клятвы куёт Печать Клятвы (ПКМ по горну, когда в инвентаре два закалённых слитка и эссенция пламени). Печать сплавляет клятвенную пару на столе кузнеца в один клинок с эффектами и чарами обеих половин.
• Восемь комплектов брони, собранных слоями накладок, у каждого пассивка под свой металл.
• Curios: корона, три кольца, семь амулетов и четыре щита.

Правила и настройки:

• Каждый удар — одно мгновение: попадание, звук, тряска и вспышка приходят в один тик.
• Тяжёлые удары выбивают поднятый щит на пять секунд.
• Контроль — замедление, левитация, слабость и подобное — на боссов не вешается. Урон со временем — вешается.
• У каждого босса своя музыка боя, которая глушит фоновую.
• config/kaelos_content-common.toml: множители здоровья и урона для каждого босса, прибавка здоровья Пожирателю за каждого игрока, пробитие щита и иммунитет к эффектам — включаются и выключаются.

Берите, спрашивать не нужно. Без изменений, в любую сборку — публичную или приватную, бесплатную или платную. Упоминание приятно, но не обязательно. Перезаливы и публичные форки — нельзя.
