Beyond Bedrock

Beyond Bedrock is a large Vanilla+ content expansion for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge that adds new progression, gear, structures, bosses, utilities, and a completely new end-game dimension while keeping the experience close to Minecraft’s original style.

Explore new systems and push progression far beyond Netherite and the End.

The Abyss

Break through Bedrock using the Abyssite Pickaxe and fall beneath the world to enter the mysterious Abyss.

The Abyss is made from Bedrock, Obsidian, and Crying Obsidian, with dangerous terrain, hostile creatures, and rare Noctarch Citadels.

Find a citadel, enter the arena, defeat the Noctarch, and collect its plates to create the strongest gear in the mod.

Defeating the Noctarch also grants the Eye of Return, a permanent reusable item that allows you to return to the Overworld spawn.

Progression

The main late-game progression is:

Netherite → Abyssite → Bedrock → The Abyss → Noctarch → Noctarch Gear

Beyond Bedrock is designed for players who want more things to discover and achieve after reaching the End without completely changing the core Minecraft experience.
