emberbium-0.3.32-beta.115-dirty+mc1.20.1.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Emberlens first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.

About this project
What does Emberbium add?

Emberbium is a fork of Embeddium, the Forge port of Sodium. This fork performs better, fixes bugs and polishes the existing visual features of the original mod.
Forge 1.20.1 | Client only | Replaces Embeddium
Features

- The block-face slices of a chunk section are drawn as one command.
- Chunk meshes put the faces you can see first, so one draw covers them!
- With a shader pack, opaque terrain is drawn near to far in distance bands, so the GPU skips more hidden pixels.

- Instead of vertex, this mod does radix sort from 256 quads. Works same but 3 to 7 times faster.
- Less garbage on every rebuild

- One failed chunk build no longer strands every finished build behind it, and leaving a world frees GPU and off-heap memory that used to leak.
GlFence.syncnow waits on the CPU, as it should have..!!

- Registers as
embeddium - Your existing Embeddium config is picked up as it is as well!

- Hover, selection, tick boxes, sliders, scrolling and tabs ease instead of snapping. Options added by addons animate too.
Benchmark

Measured in game at the same spot in a 470-mod pack, switching the change on and off every second so both sides see the same frames. RX 9070 XT, 3440x1440, render distance 12.
Good to know
- Install: remove Embeddium, add Emberbium. Never run both.
- Experimental: Advanced > Use Modern GL Paths is off by default, turns itself off under shader packs, and has not been benchmarked yet.
