About this project
What does Ore Lizards add?
Ore Lizards is inspired by dark souls' "crystal lizards"
The mod adds a passive cave creature that spends its life hidden, embedded invisibly in stone or deepslate underground. It sits dormant until a player wanders close, at which point it erupts from the ground in a burst of block particles and bolts away in a 13-second flee, scuttling away from whoever triggered. If the timer runs out before it's killed, it digs back underground, vanishing for good.
A lizard can drop one of 8 ore types (coal, iron, gold, redstone, lapis, diamond, emerald, copper), reflected by a color-tinted ore cluster on its back.
This is my first mod that adds a custom mob. Still in development. Currently a Fabric mod built on GeckoLib.
