Soulbound SMP
Bind one item to your soul at a waiting altar. It stays when you fall, returns when you rise, and can be taken only from your life. Feed it and it wakes. Kneel too often and a door opens — behind it nothing needs a weapon, and everything has a price.

About this project
What does Soulbound SMP add?
SoulboundSMP
One item. Bound to your soul. Carried past the grave.
Bind one item to your soul at a waiting altar. It stays when you fall, returns when you rise, and can be taken only from your life. Feed it and it wakes. Kneel too often and a door opens — behind it nothing needs a weapon, and everything has a price.
The Altar
The altars are old and they do not break. Each one listens to the land it stands on; bring it what that place would recognise and the binding runs deeper than it has any right to. The rite asks only for time — time, and that no one walks up and cuts it short.
It Wakes
Every soul you take strengthens the thing you carry. It learns the shape of your fighting. It remembers. Past a certain point it stops merely serving and starts answering — louder, faster, with something of its own to say.
The Door
A soul can only be rebound so many times, and the altar keeps count. Reach the end of that patience and you are offered another way through. Those who take it trade the weapon for the wound, and carry themselves differently afterwards. There is a way back. It is not cheap.
Not Alone
You need not carry it by yourself. Two souls can be tied to one another; what one earns, both feel, and when both of you strike at once the air answers. There are smaller charms, too, for those who know which one to wear.
Bind well. Guard it with your life.
