About this project

What does LumiLib add?

LumiLib is a shared foundation for Minecraft mods created by me, LuminaCherry.

It is designed to be installed as a dependency for other mods and does not add gameplay content or modify inventories by itself. Addons explicitly register the systems and inventories they want LumiLib to manage.

LumiLib provides reusable, cross-loader APIs for:

  • Rank definitions, inheritance, priorities, conditions, aliases, and temporary ranks
  • Player rank storage, migrations, backups, offline players, and synchronization
  • Explicitly registered protected inventories
  • Menu and container matching
  • Slot checks for inserting, extracting, moving, dropping, swapping, and automation
  • Player-aware locked-slot messages, tooltips, colors, and rendering metadata
  • Cross-loader gameplay events
  • Atomic action transactions with rollback and duplicate protection
  • Inventory searching, nested inventories, safe item movement, and automation helpers
  • Loot tables, weighted rewards, reward drafts, pity systems, and previews
  • Player data storage for addon-specific progression and settings
  • Conditions based on dimensions, biomes, permissions, advancements, economy, and playtime
  • Waypoints, death markers, regions, block filters, and position tracking
  • Tooltips, animated text, particles, sounds, overlays, cosmetics, and transformations
  • Optional integrations for storage mods, Curios, JEI/REI/EMI, Jade, teams, permissions, and rendering mods
  • Protocol negotiation, feature flags, packet validation, and rate limiting
  • Shared configuration, validation, synchronization, reloads, and JSON/TOML definitions
  • Debugging tools, metrics, audit logging, fake players, and simulated inventory actions

LumiLib keeps common logic in its loader-neutral core while Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric adapters handle platform-specific commands, networking, events, menus, automation, configuration, and rendering.

THIS MOD DOESNT DO ANYTHING ITSELF.
