Dawn Star Mod Introduction

This mod is developed with the help of Autoforge.

This mod revolves around a mythical star named "Dawn Star". Collect materials, forge the star, and you will gain creative-like flight abilities in survival mode. You can also step-by-step forge your equipment into eternal accessories that never break. Ultimately, you will advance towards the "Primordial Dawn Star"—the ultimate form that combines flight, immunity, resistance, and duplication powers into one graduation gear.

The mod also includes an independent "Dawn Accessory Slot" with no dependencies. It allows you to additionally equip the Star, Totem of Undying, and Elytra, completely freeing up your hands and armor slots.

Dawn Star Trio (Core)

Flight: The Core Power of the Star

As long as any one of the Ascended / Eternal / Primordial Dawn Star is in your inventory, hotbar, or dedicated accessory slot, the player will gain creative mode flight ability. You don't need to equip it in your hand; just carrying it works.

Forging Upgrades & Materials

Forging Upgrade Base	Add diamonds on the smithing table to copy any vanilla smithing template into 5 copies.Also the crafting material for Star-Gathered Forging Upgrade.
Star-Gathered Forging Upgrade	Add a Nether Star on the smithing table to forge any durable tool/equipment into an unbreakable version.(Drops of tools/equipment with this tag cannot be burned/exploded or despawn naturally).Forging on an Ascended Dawn Star directly upgrades it to an Eternal Dawn Star.Also the crafting material for Dawn Forging Upgrade.
Dawn Forging Upgrade	Combined with Eternal Dawn Star Shards, copy any item on the smithing table.Upgrade Eternal Dawn Star to Primordial Dawn Star.
Eternal Dawn Star Shard	Obtained by dismantling Eternal Dawn Star (1 star拆 into 4 shards, reversible).Used as additional material for "Item Duplication" forging.Brew some infinite duration potions.

Dawn Accessory Slot

Press I (or click the small "Accessory" button next to the recipe book in the inventory interface) to open. There are three slots in total, each accommodating only one type of item:

• Dawn Star Slot: Can only hold Dawn Stars (Ascended/Eternal/Primordial).
• Totem Slot: Can only hold Totem of Undying. When taking fatal damage, it automatically consumes and triggers death prevention, exactly like holding a vanilla Totem of Undying. After use, it automatically takes a new one from the backpack to fill the slot, acting as a permanent automatic totem protection.
• Elytra Slot: Can only hold Elytra. After placing, press Space in the air to glide. It does not conflict with the chestplate slot's Elytra—you can still wear chestplates! Gliding consumes durability as usual; when it has only 1 durability left, it automatically replaces with a完好 Elytra from the backpack.

(Items in the accessory slot exist in the character's own data: they remain in the original slot after death and respawn.)

Special Recipes

The smithing table has three grids: Template Grid, Base Grid, and Additional Grid. The following recipes are described in the order of "Template + Base + Additional":

Note: Cannot duplicate items from this mod itself; storage bags, shulker boxes, and other "containers with items inside" cannot be duplicated either (forcing it will show a mysterious hint).

(When duplicating items with a stack limit of 1, it's best not to hold Shift to quick-take, otherwise items may be swallowed.)

Brewing Stand: Infinite Duration Potions

Add Eternal Dawn Star Shards to certain potions to brew corresponding infinite duration potions.

Up to 16 effects can be made infinite: Night Vision, Regeneration, Strength, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, Jump Boost, Swiftness, Invisibility, Slow Falling, Wind Charged, Weaving, Oozing, Infested, Poison, Weakness, Slowness.

Afterwards, you can still treat them like normal potions: use gunpowder to make splash potions, use dragon breath to make lingering potions, or even coat arrows—the effects are all infinite duration.

Note: This mod allows Wither's Nether Star drops to benefit from "Looting" enchantment—besides the guaranteed 1 drop, there is a chance to drop an additional 1~2 stars (maximum 3 at the same time).

All keys are concentrated under the category named "Dawn Star" in game settings.

Tip: First enchant the Ascended Dawn Star with "Unbreaking" or even "Mending", the consumption will significantly decrease or even be offset. Eternal and Primordial versions consume no durability at all.
