About this project

What does Data Center add?

Data Center turns compute into a real resource: build server Racks, feed them power, and route their output over a real bandwidth-limited cable network (Y(ST)Y, CAT, fiber, and beyond) to Synthesizers that convert raw computation into materials, or to Mining Rigs and Hosting Racks that turn it into real cryptocurrency income, tracked against real historical BTC/ETH/KAS/XCH prices.

Built around real hardware - a full catalog of CPU/GPU/RAM/PSU/Mainboard/ASIC items modeled on real products and real release dates, purchasable through an in-game Shop as your income grows.

Racks run hot. Heat, dust, and durability are simulated per component with a real front-intake/rear-exhaust hot-aisle/cold-aisle airflow model - plan your room layout, or invest in Room Fans and Air Conditioners (compact or full split-system with indoor/outdoor units and refrigerant lines) to keep it all running.

Designed for SkyBlock: no ore veins on your island, so the data center is your only path to raw materials. Pairs with Mekanism for power generation and Applied Energistics 2 for a Compute-to-AE bridge.

There is no interaction with real Cryptocurrency. This Mod uses real history Price Data but nothing else.

Work in progress and partially AI-assisted - expect rough edges and ongoing changes.
