About this project

What does CBC Ballistic Computer add?

Create Big Cannons: Ballistic Computer

-This mod greatly facilitates the use of cannons.

Added items

ballistic computer

  • Enter the artillery coordinates, target coordinates, and charge amount in the GUI, and it will automatically calculate the required elevation and azimuth angles.
  • Hold the ballistic computer and right-click the cannon mount to bind it. Once bound, it will automatically obtain the cannon's data in real time.
  • After the cannon is bound and the target coordinates are entered, click the calculate button. The block will emit Redstone signals from its four sides, indicating the direction of deviation between the cannon and the target. You can connect it to mechanical components to enable automatic aiming of the cannon!
  • Stress needs to be input at the bottom of this block in order to perform calculations. The stress effect is 4×RPM — the faster the rotation, the higher the update rate of the redstone signal.

Helmet sight

  • The helmet sight requires holding the sight and right-clicking to bind the ballistic computer before use.
  • After putting on the helmet and aiming through the sight:
    • Press V to output the block coordinates pointed to by the crosshair as the target coordinates, input them into the bound ballistic computer, and perform the calculation.
    • Press N to toggle high/low angle mode
  • After equipping the helmet sight
    • An extra item 'Send to Ballistic Computer' appears in the right-click menu of Xaero's world map.
    • Clicking it will pass the coordinate to the ballistic computer and perform a calculation.
  • A helmet sight can be linked to multiple ballistic computers
