About this project

What does Player Marketplace add?

Marketplace is a player-to-player market for Minecraft with listings, a coin wallet, fees, expiration, an in-game mailbox, and optional daily / weekly quests.

Features

  • Buy / Sell / Mail tabs in a dedicated market GUI
  • List items by unit price and quantity (merge-friendly listings)
  • Search, price range, rarity filter, sorting, and pagination
  • Configurable placement and sale fees
  • Listings expire and items are returned by mail
  • Unclaimed mail is permanently deleted after a configurable number of days (default 30)
  • Built-in coin wallet (starting balance, player transfers, optional passive income)
  • Daily / weekly quests with JSON templates, progress tracking, and coin / item / command rewards (can be fully disabled in config)
  • Item blacklist (ids or tags)
  • Self-purchase disabled
  • Operators can add admin shop listings with unlimited stock, or limited stock that restocks every X hours or days
  • Anyone with OP level 3+ can Shift+click any listing in the GUI to cancel it
  • Languages: English, Czech

How to use

  • Open the market with keybind (default O) or /marketplace / /market
  • Open quests with keybind (default H) or /marketplace quests
  • Buy: LMB = choose amount, RMB = buy 1 → item goes to Mail
  • Sell: Create deal → pick item → set unit price & quantity → pay placement fee
  • Mail: click a letter to claim the item (stays if inventory is full). Unclaimed mail is deleted after the configured number of days
  • Quests: complete objectives, then claim rewards in the quest GUI (or enable auto-claim in config)

  • /coins add <player> <amount>
  • /coins set <player> <amount>
  • /marketplace admin create <price> - create an unlimited admin listing from the held item (no expiration)
  • /marketplace admin remove - remove the matching unlimited admin listing for the held item
  • /marketplace admin restock create <price> <quantity> <period> - create a restock admin listing (example: 5h or 5d)
  • /marketplace admin restock remove - remove the matching restock admin listing for the held item

Integrations

  • API for other mods - Add Marketplace as a mod dependency, then call cz.marketplace.api.MarketplaceAPI from server-side code to work with player coin balances:
    • getBalance(player) or getBalance(server, uuid) - read balance
    • setBalance(server, uuid, amount) - set exact balance
    • deposit(server, uuid, amount) - add coins
    • withdraw(server, uuid, amount) - remove coins (returns false if not enough)
    • formatBalance(amount) / formatBalanceCompact(amount) - format for display
  • TAB (optional, soft) - placeholders when TAB is installed:
