About this project
What does Luk's Profiles add?
Luk's Profiles Mod adds a simple and clean player profile system to Minecraft.
Use "/profile" to view your own profile, or "/profile <player>" to view another player's profile — even if they are currently offline.
You can also quickly open your own profile using the Profile button inside the player inventory.
Features
- Player Profiles — View useful information about yourself or other players.
- First Join Date — See when a player first joined the world or server.
- Playtime Tracking — Tracks and displays how long each player has played.
- 3D Player Preview — Displays the player's skin and model directly in the profile screen.
- Offline Profiles — View profiles of players who have previously joined, even while they are offline.
- Profile Badges — Unlock badges by completing selected vanilla Minecraft advancements.
- Inventory Profile Button — Quickly open your own profile directly from the inventory.
- Customizable Settings — Change the profile layout, theme and date format through the in-game config menu.
Profile Badges
Profiles can display up to 10 badges, which are automatically unlocked when the player completes specific vanilla Minecraft advancements.
Badges are displayed in progression order, from easier achievements to more difficult ones. Only unlocked badges are shown, filling the available slots from left to right.
Currently, badges are available for the following advancements:
- Stone Age
- Acquire Hardware
- Diamonds!
- We Need to Go Deeper
- Cover Me with Diamonds
- Hidden in the Depths
- Postmortal
- Sky's the Limit
- Withering Heights
- Cover Me in Debris
When a new badge is unlocked, the player receives a small notification in chat.
If the player had already completed one of these advancements before installing or updating the mod, the corresponding badge can also be detected and added when the player joins the world again.
Configuration
The mod includes an in-game config screen accessible through:
Mods → Luk's Profiles Mod → Config
The following options are currently available:
Profile Layout
- With Badges
- Without Badges
Theme
- Light
- Dark
Date Format
- MM/DD/YY
- DD/MM/YY
These settings are client-side, allowing each player to choose how they want profiles to appear on their own screen.
Important
A player's First Join date is recorded from the first time they join while the mod is installed. If the mod is added to an existing world or server, it cannot determine joins that happened before installation.
Profile information is stored using the player's UUID, allowing profiles and badges to remain available even when the player is offline.
Luk's Profiles Mod is designed to be lightweight, customizable, and easy to use, adding a convenient way to view player information and progression without changing the core Minecraft experience.
