Advanced Logistics

Adds more advanced logistic items, like copper pipes, for farms and automation. Sort, prevent overflow, and destroy unwanted items.

Items / Features

• Copper Pipe - An item transport block that moves items at hopper-minecart speeds, but cannot pull items like a hopper and has less internal storage.
• Copper Tee - Joins multiple hopper/pipe lines.
• Sorter - a single block that drops a specific item from a hopper/pipe line and pushed everything else down the line. Reversible - i.e. drops all but the selected item.
• Relief Valve - a single block that normally acts like a horizontal hopper/pipe, but drops any incoming items when it cannot move the contents to the next container.
• Incinerator - a container that destroys any item pushed into it. (also, Incinerator Minecart!)
• Restone Rod - a rod device that carries redstone upwards (Redstone Torch + Copper Rod) Same power limits as dust
• Item Elevator - a device that pushes items upwards, requires redstone power, and carries redstone power upward. (Dropper + Redstone Rod)
• Item Splitter - a single block that takes one input, and alternates where items go as they go out.

Origin

I like making farms, so sorting and moving large quantities of items has been a major source of pain. Also, I play a lot of Satisfactory, and the logistics there just make a lot of sense to me, so I wanted to add some items that help make Minecraft logistics more efficient.

Also, I want to keep items balanced, so nothing here adds features you can't otherwise get in vanilla, but are designed to compact builds and simplify layouts.

For example, a Sorter will back up and block a line just like vanilla sorting system. But a Sorter pointing into a Relief Valve that drops the overflow into an Incinerator (or a return loop if you don't like buring things up) will keep a system running smoothly indefinitely.

AI Statement

All in-game assets: image, text, and sounds are made by hand. AI Coding Assistants are used to generate java code. All code is verified by human eyes.
