About this project
What does ChaosLoop Radio add?
A key to talk on the radio.
The ChaosLoop walkie-talkie listens all the time. This decides when it transmits: hold the key and what you say goes out on your frequency, let go and you are back to talking to whoever is standing next to you.
Client-side Fabric mod for 1.20.1.
What it does
- Push to talk. Default
R, rebindable in Controls under "ChaosLoop". - A cleaner sidebar. Hides the red score numbers down the side of the ChaosLoop scoreboard, which the 1.20.1 server API cannot do by itself. Only affects what you see.
What it does not do
It does not touch your microphone. Simple Voice Chat still decides whether you are talking at all — this only decides where the sound goes.
Safe to leave installed
The whole protocol is one byte, sent only to a server that has said it speaks it. On any other server the mod sends nothing and does nothing.
Needs
- Fabric Loader 0.15+ and Fabric API
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- A server running the ChaosLoop Plugin, for the key to mean anything
