About this project
What does BoP Freed add?
Allows BoP to generate terrain and decorations when placed in vanilla worlds and Mystcraft dimensions.
Note that to have BoP biomes appear in vanilla worlds you will also need a program that will place them into the biome layout, such as the latest version (0.9.9) of Geographicraft, or BiomeTweaker with appropriate configs. Earlier versions of Geographicraft suppress BoP biomes in vanilla worlds precisely because they would generate without terrain or decoration. Mystcraft should work out of the box.
The terrains are not as interesting as in the BoP worldtype because the 1.12 version of BoP had a more sophisticated terrain generator than vanilla, which this mod is not able to export, but they are still fun and playable. The terrains used are from vanilla biomes with similar characteristics as the BoP biomes (Extreme Hills for MOUNTAIN, Forest Hills for HILLS, Swampland for SWAMP, etc.) with Alps and Mountain tweaked to be extra high.
