About this project
What does Mage Tank Balancer add?
NOTE: This mod is just something I made in my free time, so I did use a lot of AI-assissted coding in the process, but the mod itself is basic enough that there shouldn't be any major issues. Just a heads up before you download this.
A that mod aims to balancer Iron's Spells mages in PVP, since they're tanky, mobile, has access to many utilities and overall dwarves pure melee builds.
The mod does the following:
- Buffs players that build armor and health with bonus armor, attack damage, and spell resistance whilst nerfing their overal magical powers.
- Nerfs mages' physical powers, but rewards them by boosting the magic school with the strongest stats.
- Nerfs eldritch by increasing cast time, casting movement speed, cooldown and attack damage ontop of the mage physical nerf, as I feel eldritch is significantly stronger than every other school.
The mod adds 2 items(for now):
- Abyssal Vow: Eldritch Mages will now have to craft this item in order to truly commit to the school, as they will suffer heavy stat reductions if this item is not crafted and activated.
- Cleansing Rite: Basically undoes the Abyssal Vow
You can tweak the penalties in the config to your liking.
As of the moment I'm publishing this mod, there's an issue with the most recent version of Cataclysm and T.O's. I advise you download Cataclysm 3.16 and Lionfish API 2.8 to avoid this issue.
