About this project
What does Simple Enchants add?
Simple Enchants expands Minecraft's enchantment system with over 30 hand-crafted enchantments, each featuring completely original mechanics. The mod adds new layers of strategy to combat, mining, exploration, and survival — without duplicating anything from vanilla.
Discover enchantments that reward skillful play, punish recklessness, or completely change how you approach encounters. From weapons that chain lightning to armor that lets you walk on lava, every enchantment offers a unique tactical advantage.
The mod also introduces powerful curses that create meaningful risk-reward decisions. Combined with balanced costs and thoughtful compatibility, Simple Enchants fits seamlessly into any modded or vanilla survival world.
Vampirism — heals the attacker on every hit.
Thunderstrike — chance to summon a chain lightning bolt on the target.
Leech — on kill, grants regeneration or restores saturation.
Frost Aspect — applies slowness and weakness to the target.
Berserker — empowers attacks at low health.
Warded — reduces incoming damage for every worn armor piece.
Second Wind — chance to survive a lethal blow with a sliver of health left.
Parry — a timely shield block reflects arrows back at the shooter; holding the shield does not parry, and each parry has a cooldown.
Poison Edge — applies damage over time to the target.
Siphon — grants experience on every hit.
Greed — increases experience from ore mining and kills.
Puppeteer — forces mobs to attack each other.
Explosive Arrow — arrows create an explosion on impact.

Auto Smelt — automatically smelts ores when mined.
Vein Miner — mines connected ore veins.
Timber — fells entire trees in one go.
Excavation — mines a 3×3 area.
Reach — extends interaction range with blocks and mobs.
Replant — automatically plants saplings after cutting down trees.
Harvester — right-click mature crops with a hoe to harvest an area and replant them, consuming one seed from your inventory per crop.
Glowing Sight — reveals nearby mobs through walls.
Night Vision — grants permanent night vision.
Magnetism — attracts dropped items and experience to the player.
Step Up — increases maximum step height.
Water Walker — allows walking on water.
Magma Walker — allows walking on lava.
Swiftness — increases movement speed.
Leap — increases jump height.
Feather Fall — reduces fall damage and softens landings.
Soulbound — keeps the item in inventory on player death.
Curse of Fragility — accelerates item durability loss.
Curse of Burden — slows player movement.
Curse of Hunger — drains player saturation.
Curse of Clumsiness — forces the player to randomly drop items.
Curse of Vulnerability — reduces armor and amplifies incoming damage.
