Mod Introduction
Chemek — Alchemistry Meets Mekanism
Chemek reimagines Alchemistry's processing machines — the Combiner, Compactor, and Dissolver — as Mekanism-style tiered factories, bringing Mekanism's industrial workflow and interface conventions to Alchemistry automation.
Factory Tiers
•
Four tiers: Basic, Advanced, Elite, and Ultimate, each with 3/5/7/9 parallel production units.
•
Upgrade between tiers using Mekanism tier installers; contents (items, progress, side config, upgrades, security, locks) are fully carried over.
•
The Basic installer converts original Alchemistry machines into Basic Chemek factories in place, migrating existing inputs and outputs.
Mekanism-Native Systems
•
Side configuration, transporter colors, strict input, and auto-eject — all powered by Mekanism's native components and tabs.
•
Security modes (Public / Trusted / Private) and redstone control (Disabled / High / Low / Pulse).
•
Upgrade window with speed and energy upgrades; capacity and consumption scale correctly and are recalculated after loading.
Recipes & QoL
•
Dedicated recipe selection page (Combiner and Compactor), faithfully modeled on Alchemistry's own selector, with search by name or @namespace.
•
Recipe locking is player-controlled: pick a recipe, then lock it when ready.
•
Click any progress arrow to open the matching recipe page in JEI.
•
Dissolver factories share a horizontal 3-row output grid, sized by primary input count.
•
Input slots show ghost previews of required items; a dedicated slot previews the selected recipe's product.
Compatibility
•
Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+, Mekanism 10.4.16, Alchemistry 2.3.4, JEI 15.
