About this project
What does Wirzind Enchanting add?
Wirzind Enchanting expands Minecraft’s enchanting progression with a stronger focus on rarity, preparation, and long-term progression.
Instead of making high-level enchantments easy to obtain, the mod introduces a more structured system built around the Enhancement Altar and several tiers of special Grimoires. More powerful enchantments require rarer resources, making upgrades feel like meaningful progression rather than simple extensions of the vanilla enchanting table.
The mod also raises the limits of selected enchantments, allowing players to go beyond normal vanilla levels while keeping those upgrades intentionally difficult to acquire.
Main Features
Enhancement Altar - a dedicated block for applying powerful enchantment upgrades.
Grimoires - special items used to enhance equipment beyond normal progression.
Multiple rarity tiers - standard, Mysterious, and Arcane Grimoires provide access to increasingly powerful upgrades.
Higher enchantment levels - selected enchantments can exceed their normal vanilla limits.
Rebalanced progression - powerful enchantments are restricted from common early-game acquisition methods.
Rarer high-level upgrades - the strongest Grimoires are significantly harder to find.
Modified enchanted-book progression - high-level enchantments are no longer freely available through every vanilla source.
Vanilla-style integration - the system is designed to feel like an extension of Minecraft rather than a completely separate progression system.
Wirzind Enchanting is intended for players who enjoy vanilla-style progression but want enchanting to remain relevant for longer, with stronger rewards at the end of a more deliberate upgrade path.
