About this project
What does Scale Of Tools add?

A small client-side mod: warns you when your tool is about to break.
You're digging, building, fighting—and suddenly your shovel, pickaxe, or sword breaks at the most inopportune moment. Scale of Tools monitors the durability of your tool and displays a notification in advance, so you can repair or replace it.
Works on a clean client: no server installation required. This mod is fair—no cheats, just convenience.
How it works
- When the durability of the tool in your active hand drops below a threshold (default 10), a message appears in the action bar:
- "Almost broken: Diamond Pickaxe - 10 remaining"
- Both your primary and secondary hands are checked—the tool won't break unnoticed.
- To prevent spamming notifications during long digging sessions, they are repeated no more than once every 3 seconds (the interval is configurable).
- Tools with "infinite" durability (e.g., enchanted netherite) are correctly ignored.
