About this project

What does VegasCraft add?

VegasCraft

A full casino and shop mod for Minecraft. Fully multiplayer compatible, play with friends or against bots that actually think instead of picking random moves.

Casino Games

Poker — three ways to play:

  • Normal Table: low stakes, good for getting started
  • VIP Table: higher stakes, bigger risk
  • Tournament: up to 150 players, real blind level structure, bounties for eliminations, rebuy options depending on buy in

Bots bluff, adjust their play style based on the table and their stack, and know when to fold. Not just random decisions.

Blackjack — full table, animations, betting.

Horse Racing — place your bets, watch the race.

Door Game — pick a door, higher risk for a bigger reward.

Wheel of Fortune — quick spin, chance at a payout.

Shop System

Regular Shop — buy and sell items, separate buy/sell interface, admin adjustable prices. Extra tabs appear automatically if you have compatible mods installed, but nothing is required.

Nightshop — a rotating shop with hidden items. Resets periodically, click to reveal what's underneath, different items every time.

Mod Compatibility

VegasCraft works fine on its own, no other mods required. But if you have any of the following installed, extra content from them will automatically show up in the Wheel, Nightshop and Door Game:

  • T.O Magic 'n Extras
  • Cataclysm
  • Goety
  • Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks
  • Celestisynth

All of these are optional. If you don't have them installed, VegasCraft still runs perfectly fine, you just won't see items from those mods in the relevant places.

About the Development

AI was used to help build parts of this mod. I work full time, so it sped things up, balancing, and testing came from actually playing it myself.

Still in Beta

Actively being worked on. Found a bug or something feels off? Drop a comment, I'm reading and fixing.
