About this project
What does Maple Mesh Render add?
Maple Mesh Render
Maple Mesh Render is an advanced rendering optimization engine for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 designed to increase frame rates, stabilize frame times, and eliminate micro stutters while preserving vanilla visual fidelity.
Key Features
- Greedy Coplanar Quad Merging. Consolidates adjacent identical block faces into unified geometric quads during chunk mesh compilation. Substantially reduces vertex buffer size, GPU draw call overhead, and memory bandwidth usage.
- Shader Shadow Pass Optimization. Performs high speed shadow frustum and distance culling during shadow map rendering passes with Oculus and Iris shaders, significantly improving performance with demanding shaderpacks.
- Zero Allocation PoseStack Pool. Implements thread local object pooling for matrix stack operations, eliminating heap churn and garbage collection pauses in complex rendering scenes.
- Smart Animated Texture Throttling. Dynamically regulates update ticks for animated textures based on camera distance and frustum visibility.
- Fast Particle and Entity Culling. Efficient distance and occlusion culling for particles and ambient entities.
Compatibility
Fully compatible with Embeddium, Sodium, Oculus, Iris, FerriteCore, ModernFix, and ImmediatelyFast.
Redundancies and Conflicts
Due to built in memory management and native render pipeline optimizations, it is not recommended to use this mod alongside MemoryLeakFix, AllTheLeaks, or CreateBetterFPS, as their functions are fully superseded and may cause redundant hook overhead.
