About this project
What does TACZ CS Bot add?
TACZ CS Bot
TACZ CS Bot brings Counter-Strike-inspired AI battles to Minecraft using TACZ (Timeless and Classics Zero) weapons. Fight alongside or against bots with player-style models, randomized names, and custom skins, or take on an evolving zombie outbreak in Biohazard: Night Evolution.
Bots use TACZ’s native weapon handling, including drawing, aiming, shooting, reloading, bolt cycling, and projectile ballistics. They are independent mobs and do not require CustomNPCs, KubeJS, or fake players.
Four Playable Modes
Practice — configure bots, teams, difficulty, weapons, and movement for training and equipment testing, without a formal round objective.
Team Deathmatch — red and blue teams fight with respawns and a configurable kill target. Matches have a 30-minute limit; when time expires, the higher-scoring team wins, or equal scores result in a draw.
Demolition — plant and defuse C4, compete for round wins, and spectate after death until the next round. The opening round is a pistol round: primary firearms are temporarily skipped, while sidearms, melee weapons, and configured throwables remain available. Red attacks and blue defends throughout the match; teams do not automatically swap sides.
Biohazard: Night Evolution — humans fight to survive while zombies spread infection. Dusk, Night, and Dawn change the battle: zombies become stronger at night, while dawn slows them and disables further zombie respawns. Choose zombie classes, use faction skills, collect supply crates, and unlock evolution abilities, including Hero and Zombie Hunter transformations when their conditions are met.
Features
🤖 AI teammates and opponents — a default bot limit of 40, with configurable difficulty, targeting, movement, and respawn settings. Combat includes pursuit, ranged and melee attacks, team support, and navigation through Minecraft terrain.
🔫 TACZ weapons and equipment — configurable weapon pools and blacklists, plus saved player loadouts with primary, secondary, melee, and throwable slots. Choose specific or randomized equipment; pistol rounds preserve your saved primary selection.
🧩 Built-in attachment liberation — when enabled by the administrator, install compatible attachments through the TACZ modification screen without TaCZ Addon. Weapon compatibility and modification locks still apply. Biohazard disables free attachment liberation and uses purchased or inventory attachments instead.
🧟 Zombie classes and evolution — Runner, Blood, Invisible, and Heavy Zombies have different traits and active skills. Evolution progress carries between rounds, with 20 base abilities, upgrades for 15 numerical abilities, and a maximum of 35 levels.
🛒 Biohazard shop and supplies — spend emeralds on equipment, weapons, attachments, and throwables. Save up to five purchase plans, rebuy previous-round equipment, or use random buying. Supply crates offer weapons, emeralds, or armor.
🗺️ Saved maps — manage map covers, mode-specific spawn points, bomb sites, map boundaries, and AI defensive positions. Special traversal routes learned from player movement can be saved and shared between bots.
🛡️ Customizable bot armor — choose armor separately for each slot and configure Protection and Unbreaking. Ordinary bots default to unenchanted iron armor; supported vanilla armor receives red or blue team trims. Special Biohazard roles follow their own equipment rules.
🎮 In-game management — configure maps, prepare matches, manage bots, edit equipment and shop settings, and view match statistics. Pausing bot AI leaves match timers and mode-specific respawn rules running.
📊 Customizable tactical UI — personal HUD modes for matches only, global, or off, plus a HUD position editor and separate appearance toggles. Includes health, armor, ammunition, skills, evolution, kill feedback, a kill feed, and an optional tactical inventory screen.
🔊 Built-in match audio — Counter-Strike-style announcements and Biohazard effects, with configurable playback and volume; no separate sound resource pack is required.
⚙️ Adjustable rendering and AI settings — staggered target checks, cached navigation decisions, and adjustable rendering distance for bot-held weapon models. Actual performance depends on your hardware, map, gun packs, and other mods.
Throwables can be equipped by players; bots do not currently have automatic grenade-throwing AI.
Requirements
For TACZ CS Bot 1.1.82:
Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.20 as the reference environment.
TACZ (Timeless and Classics Zero) 1.1.8-hotfix as the tested integration target. Compatibility with other TACZ versions is not guaranteed.
LesRaisins Tactical Equipements (
lrtactical) 0.4.3 or later — required since TACZ CS Bot 1.1.80.
For multiplayer, install matching TACZ CS Bot versions and the required dependencies on both the server and every client. Additional gun packs provide their own weapons, melee items, and throwables.

Getting Started
Install the mod and its required dependencies, then press Left Shift + E.
Open Map Management and create or select a map.
Configure enabled spawn points for the selected mode. Demolition also needs A and B bomb sites. Biohazard needs its dedicated spawn points and a valid map boundary; AI defensive positions can help human bots hold suitable locations.
Select a mode, open Match Preparation, configure participants and bots, and start the match.
Use Equipment & Shop to manage equipment and shop settings, and Personal Equipment to edit saved loadouts where supported.
To display armor on bots, enable Show Bot Armor in the client settings. Armor rendering is off by default; this does not remove their equipped armor or its protection.
For custom skins, place 64×64 PNG files in config/taczcsbot/skins/. Maps are stored under config/taczcsbot/maps/. Common settings use config/taczcsbot-common.toml, with Biohazard tuning in config/taczcsbot-zombie-common.toml.

The menu is the main interface for configuring maps and starting matches. Commands provide selected administrative actions.
Language, Development & Feedback
In-game menus, messages, and keybinding names support Simplified Chinese and English (US).
This mod was developed with extensive assistance from OpenAI Codex. I have limited programming experience and focus on ideas, feature design, in-game testing, and reporting issues, while Codex assists with implementation and debugging.
Bug reports, suggestions, and optimization feedback are welcome! Please include your mod and dependency versions, game mode, steps to reproduce, and relevant screenshots or logs. For navigation problems, /taczcsbot navdebug on can help collect useful evidence in logs/latest.log.
