What does SGC-Control-Addon add?
SGC Control Addon is an addon for Just Stargate Mod (JSG) on Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.
The mod adds a dedicated SGC-inspired control terminal that allows players to monitor and control a Stargate through a custom interface.
Its main goal is to make Stargate usage feel much more immersive, with a control system inspired by the interfaces seen in Stargate.
The terminal displays a full representation of the gate, including its chevrons, current state, activity, and connection information.
When a destination is selected, the interface follows the entire dialing sequence: glyphs are displayed, chevrons activate progressively, and the current connection state is shown on screen.
The mod also includes a Stargate database that displays the different gates registered in the JSG network, making it easy to browse and select a destination.
Incoming connections are also fully supported. When another Stargate attempts to connect to your local gate, the screen displays a red OFFWORLD ACTIVATION warning, along with red indicators showing the progressive activation of the incoming chevrons.
The terminal can also display useful Stargate information such as its current status, energy level, dialing progress, and iris state.
Several SGC-inspired controls are included as well, allowing the player to manage the iris, abort a dialing sequence, or close an active connection.
The terminal itself can be placed directly in the world and rotated in different directions, making it easy to integrate into a control room, military base, bunker, or SGC-style build.
