About this project
What does SkyblockCore add?
SkyblockCore
SkyblockCore is a singleplayer SkyBlock-style RPG progression overhaul for Minecraft.
The mod is designed to turn a normal fresh Minecraft world into a longer-term progression experience where gathering resources, defeating enemies, fishing, and improving your character all contribute to persistent progression systems.
Instead of relying only on vanilla experience and advancements, SkyblockCore gives the player a persistent profile with Skills, Collections, character statistics, Coins, and SkyBlock XP.
Progress through Skills
Everyday activities improve dedicated Skills. Mining ores increases Mining, harvesting crops increases Farming, chopping logs increases Foraging, defeating enemies increases Combat, and catching fish increases Fishing.
Skill levels provide permanent progression and rewards, giving players a reason to continue improving specific activities rather than simply replacing tools and moving on.
For example, a player who spends time farming can increase their Farming progression and Farming Fortune, while a player focused on mining can improve Mining progression and Mining Fortune.
Build resource Collections
Resources have their own persistent Collections. Gathering materials such as Wheat, Cobblestone, Coal, Iron, Redstone, logs, mob drops, and fish increases the appropriate Collection.
The current rebuild contains dozens of Collections divided between Farming, Mining, Combat, Foraging, and Fishing.
Collection milestones give players another long-term objective beyond simply storing materials. Future progression systems such as recipes, Minions, equipment, and item upgrades are being built around these Collection milestones.
Persistent player profile
SkyblockCore maintains a dedicated progression profile containing information such as:
- Coins
- SkyBlock XP
- Skill levels and XP
- Collection progress
- Combat and gathering statistics
This means progression is tied to your character and activities rather than being limited to vanilla item progression.
Custom SkyBlock menu
Players receive a dedicated SkyBlock Menu item that provides access to the mod's progression interfaces.
From the menu, players can inspect their profile, Skills, Collections, and character statistics without needing external commands or spreadsheets.
Expanded character statistics
SkyblockCore introduces RPG-style statistics beyond normal Minecraft attributes, including Health, Defense, Strength, Intelligence, Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Mining Fortune, Farming Fortune, Foraging Fortune, and other progression-oriented stats.
These systems are intended to make equipment and progression choices increasingly meaningful as development continues.
Designed specifically for singleplayer
SkyblockCore is being built from the ground up as a singleplayer experience. Systems that are commonly dependent on a multiplayer economy or server infrastructure are being redesigned so they can function naturally in a personal Minecraft world.
The goal is to provide the feeling of a large SkyBlock RPG progression game while allowing the player to progress entirely at their own pace.
Current rebuild status
SkyblockCore is currently undergoing a clean rebuild. The current Core Foundation release focuses on Skills, Collections, stats, player profiles, progression tracking, and the main SkyBlock interface.
Upcoming releases are planned to expand this foundation with systems such as Collection-unlocked recipes, Minions, accessories and equipment, item reforging and enchanting, pets, expanded economy features, progression islands, bosses, and additional endgame content.
New worlds are recommended while the rebuild is in active development.
