About this project

What does [Unofficial] Skiing2 continued add?

This mod is a NeoForge 1.21.1 port of Skiing, with bug fixes, improved snow collision, and optional compatibility with Ecliptic Seasons.

Features

  • Skis, snowboards, and sleds in nine wood variants.
  • Ski sticks that boost ski acceleration when held in both hands.
  • Snowboards that automatically climb one-block slopes, with faster movement on ordinary ground while remaining faster on snow.
  • Improved snow collision — all three vehicles stay on top of snow layers and powder snow.
  • Ski racks that display and store up to four pairs of skis or snowboards.
  • Dyeable pullovers in 16 colors that protect you from freezing.
  • A snow shovel for clearing a 3×3 area. Sneak to break just one block.
  • A ski merchant and seven paintings.

Ecliptic Seasons Compatibility

Enjoy skiing across seasonal snowy landscapes!

When Ecliptic Seasons is installed, skis, snowboards, and sleds recognize its snow-covered blocks and move across them at the same speed as on regular snow. When the snow cover disappears, ordinary ground speed applies again.

Ecliptic Seasons is optional. Skiing works independently without it.
