About this project

What does Epic Fight Posture Integration add?

Epic Fight Posture Integration adds a Posture system to Epic Fight combat.

Attack enemies or parry their attacks to break their Posture, stagger them, and create an opportunity to execute them with Combat Evolution.

This mod automatically extends Posture support to compatible modded mobs through model analysis and animation retargeting.

This mod is still under active development. Some features are experimental, and compatibility issues may still occur. Feedback and bug reports are welcome.

Features

  • Adds a Posture system to compatible mobs
  • Attacks and successful parries reduce enemy Posture
  • Depleting Posture triggers a guard break, leaving enemies vulnerable
  • Guard-broken enemies can be executed with Combat Evolution

Compatibility

EFPI supports compatible mobs with existing Epic Fight patches and can automatically add support to:

  • Vanilla-style humanoid mobs
  • Vanilla-style spider mobs
  • Supported GeckoLib humanoid mobs
  • Other supported humanoid mob models

Compatibility has been specifically tested with:

Because compatibility is applied automatically, some custom mobs may have visual or animation issues.
If a mob does not work correctly, it can be excluded using the blacklist in the server configuration.

Configuration

Client settings can be changed from:

Mods -> Epic Fight Posture Integration -> Config

Server settings are stored at:

config/epicfight_posture_integration/server.toml

You can adjust Posture balance, regeneration, individual mob multipliers, blacklists, and automatic compatibility.

Dedicated Servers

Automatic compatibility also works on multiplayer servers.
After the first server start, or after changing the installed mods, an operator should join the world once so EFPI can detect compatible mobs.
Restart the server afterward to activate newly detected compatibility targets.

Requirements

Optional

  • GeckoLib 4.4.9+
