About this project

What does Universal Infinity add?

Universal Infinity ♾️

Universal Infinity expands Minecraft's Infinity enchantment beyond bows, allowing it to be applied to many different items.

With Infinity, compatible items can be used without being consumed, opening up new possibilities for building, exploration, combat, automation, and modded gameplay.

✨ Features

  • ♾️ Universal Infinity — Apply the Infinity enchantment to supported items instead of only bows.

  • 🧱 Infinite Blocks — Place blocks without consuming them from your hand.

  • 🪣 Infinite Buckets — Water and lava buckets can be used without losing their contents.

  • 🗿 Infinite Totems — Totems with Infinity can activate without being permanently consumed.

  • 📚 Enchanting Table Support — Infinity can appear on compatible items through the enchanting system.

  • 🔨 Anvil Support — Apply Infinity to compatible items using an enchanted book.

  • ⭐ Low Anvil Cost — Applying Infinity costs only 4 experience levels.

  • 🔧 Mod Compatibility — Designed to work with vanilla items as well as items and blocks added by other mods whenever possible.

  • 📦 Modpack Friendly — Designed with large modpacks in mind.

🔗 Mod Compatibility

Universal Infinity is designed to work generically rather than requiring individual support for every item.

This means items, blocks, tools, consumables, and other content added by mods may also benefit from Infinity whenever their behavior is compatible with the system.

Because Minecraft mods can implement completely custom item behavior, compatibility with every individual modded item cannot be guaranteed.

📦 Modpack Permission

Yes, you may include Universal Infinity in your modpack.

You are free to use this mod in public or private modpacks, including modpacks distributed through CurseForge.

Credit and a link to the original CurseForge project page are appreciated.

Please do not redistribute Universal Infinity as a standalone download or claim the mod as your own.
