About this project
What does Biome Summoner add?
Biome Summoner
Biome Summoner adds new commands that let you summon Minecraft mobs as if they spawned in a biome of your choice!
Normally, some mobs get different appearances or variants depending on where they spawn. Biome Summoner gives you control over that directly through commands.
Commands
Use:
/summonbiome <mob> <biome>
For example:
/summonbiome minecraft:villager minecraft:snowy_plains
You can also use the extended summon syntax:
/summon minecraft:villager biome minecraft:snowy_plains
What Does It Do?
The mod attempts to summon the selected entity using the spawning conditions of the biome you specify.
This means mobs that have biome-dependent variants can use the appearance or variant associated with that biome, even when you aren't actually standing in that biome.
For example, you could summon a snowy-biome villager while standing somewhere completely different.
Features
Custom
/summonbiomecommandBiome-aware mob spawning
Works without traveling to the requested biome
Registry-based mob and biome selection
Command tab completion
Designed to work with many different Minecraft mobs
Mobs without biome-specific variants simply use their normal appearance
Useful for map makers, testing, creative worlds, and commands
Examples
/summonbiome minecraft:villager minecraft:snowy_plains
/summonbiome minecraft:villager minecraft:desert
/summonbiome minecraft:frog minecraft:swamp
/summonbiome minecraft:wolf minecraft:grove
