About this project

What does Dragon Revival add?

Dragon Revival

What if every Ender Dragon you defeated came back the next time you resurrected the dragon?

Dragon Revival changes the Ender Dragon resurrection system so that every resurrection becomes a bigger and harder battle.

The idea behind the mod is that when you use End Crystals to resurrect the Ender Dragon, the old dragon is actually being brought back to life. When you resurrect the dragon again later, the dragons from the previous fight come back too!

HOW IT WORKS

Original End Fight:
1 Ender Dragon

First Resurrection:
2 Ender Dragons

Second Resurrection:
3 Ender Dragons

Third Resurrection:
4 Ender Dragons

Fourth Resurrection:
5 Ender Dragons

And it keeps increasing!

Every time you resurrect the Ender Dragon, another dragon is added to the fight.

So if your previous resurrection had 5 dragons, the next resurrection will have 6.

The more times you resurrect them, the more dangerous the End becomes.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE MOD

This isn't supposed to simply be a mod that randomly spawns extra Ender Dragons.

The idea is that the dragons you previously killed are being resurrected.

The first time you resurrect the Ender Dragon, the original dragon comes back along with another dragon.

After defeating those two and resurrecting again, both old dragons return and another joins them, resulting in 3 dragons.

Then 4.

Then 5.

And so on.

It's like every Ender Dragon you've defeated refuses to stay dead.

PERSISTENT PROGRESSION

The resurrection progression is saved with your world.

Closing Minecraft or restarting the world does not intentionally reset the progression.

The number of dragons continues increasing as you continue resurrecting them.

EXISTING WORLDS

You do not need to create a new world.

Dragon Revival is designed to recognize worlds where the original Ender Dragon has already been defeated, allowing the multi-dragon resurrection system to begin when you resurrect it again.

WHY I MADE THIS

I wanted Ender Dragon resurrection to actually mean something.

Normally, resurrecting the dragon just gives you essentially the same boss fight again.

Dragon Revival makes every resurrection more dangerous than the last while giving it a simple story:

Every dragon you killed is coming back.

How many Ender Dragons can you handle at once?
