About this project
What does Cursed Fate: Disaster Tides add?
Disaster Tides — Cursed Fate Addon
Command Dagon’s ocean-inspired technique in Minecraft.
Six abilities
1. Brine Lance
Unlocked at mastery 0
Compress water into a piercing lance and launch it in the direction you aim. The lance passes through enemies, allowing you to strike multiple targets lined up behind one another, but stops at solid blocks.
- Normal: Launches a concentrated water lance.
- Flow: Widens the lance’s hit area by 30%.
- Chant: Increases damage by 35%.
- Flow + Chant: Combines the wider hit area and increased damage.
Cost: 180 CE normally, 216 CE with Flow, 243 CE with Chant, or 279 CE with both.
Cooldown: 5 seconds.
2. Riptide Step
Unlocked at mastery 15
Surge forward on a rushing current, striking and knocking back enemies in your path. Use it to close the distance or push through a group. Works on land and in water, and stops at walls.
- Normal: A forward dash with a damaging impact.
- Flow: Makes the dash faster and longer.
- Chant: Increases impact damage by 35% and grants brief resistance during the dash.
- Flow + Chant: Combines the extended dash, stronger impact, and resistance.
Cost: 240 CE normally, 288 CE with Flow, 324 CE with Chant, or 372 CE with both.
Cooldown: 8 seconds.
3. Crushing Tide
Unlocked at mastery 30
Send a broad, curling wave rolling forward. The wave strikes enemies across its path and knocks them back, giving you room to reposition or follow up with another attack.
- Normal: Releases a sweeping wave.
- Flow: Widens the wave’s hit area by 30%.
- Chant: Increases damage by 35%.
- Flow + Chant: Creates a wider, stronger breaker.
The wave does not destroy terrain.
Cost: 500 CE normally, 600 CE with Flow, 675 CE with Chant, or 775 CE with both.
Cooldown: 12 seconds.
4. Abyssal Vortex
Unlocked at mastery 40
Create a whirlpool where you aim, up to 18 blocks away. For 3.5 seconds, it pulls nearby enemies inward and repeatedly damages them before erupting upward and launching trapped opponents into the air.
- Normal: Creates a pulling whirlpool with a final eruption.
- Flow: Expands the pull and eruption radius by 30%.
- Chant: Increases damage by 35%.
- Flow + Chant: Combines the larger area and increased damage.
Cost: 750 CE normally, 900 CE with Flow, 1,013 CE with Chant, or 1,163 CE with both.
Cooldown: 18 seconds.
5. Maximum: Oceanic Cataclysm
Unlocked at mastery 50
Gather a massive sphere of water during a 2.5-second charge, then launch it forward. The sphere detonates on contact with an enemy or solid block, or when its travel time expires, releasing a crushing surge that damages and throws nearby enemies away.
Enemies closer to the center take more damage. Solid blocks protect targets from the blast, and the explosion leaves terrain intact.
- Normal: Launches a water sphere with a powerful area detonation.
- Flow: Expands the blast radius by 30%.
- Chant: Increases damage by 35%.
- Flow + Chant: Combines the larger blast and increased damage.
Cost: 1,500 CE normally, 1,800 CE with Flow, 2,025 CE with Chant, or 2,325 CE with both.
Cooldown: 40 seconds.
6. Domain Expansion: Horizon of the Captivating Skandha
Unlocked at mastery 70
Expand an ocean domain and unleash Death Swarm against enemies throughout its 27-block radius.
Schools of cursed fish form near opponents, pursue them, and bite repeatedly. Each fish remains active for three seconds while new waves replenish the assault, with up to 24 fish active at once.
Once fully opened, the domain lasts up to 35 seconds, provided you have enough cursed energy to maintain it. Use the ability again to close it early.
Cost: 2,600 CE to open, plus ongoing cursed energy upkeep. Closing it is free.
Cooldown: 120 seconds before reopening. No Chant or Flow variations.
