About this project
What does Poorly Leveling add?
Poorly Leveling is an unofficial fan mod inspired by Solo Leveling, created by Chugong (original web novel) and illustrated by Jang Sung-rak / DUBU, REDICE Studio (webtoon/manga adaptation). This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the original creators, D&C Media, or any official Solo Leveling publisher.

How this differs from the original: all code, textures, 3D models, sounds and game mechanics in this mod were built from scratch for Minecraft. No original artwork, text, audio or files from the Solo Leveling franchise are included or redistributed. The mod recreates the setting and characters (the System, gates, shadow monarch, named characters like Igris and Beru) as an original Minecraft implementation, in the style of a fan tribute.

Awaken as a Player. A blue System window greets you on first join. Accept, and you start at Level 1 with five stats: STR, AGI, VIT, INT and PER. Press V for the Status window. You level up to 100, fully heal on every level-up, and unlock skills like Sprint, Bloodlust, Stealth and Ruler's Authority.
A new Daily Quest every Minecraft day. The quests follow a 7-day Minecraft week and then repeat. They are simple: chop logs, mine stone and ore, kill monsters, harvest crops, breed animals, catch fish, explore. Everything is doable within one in-game day. Finish it for a full heal, stat points and a Random Box. Fail it and you're dropped into the Penalty Zone, a desert of giant centipedes you must survive. Goals are adjustable in the config.
Gates and dungeons. E- to S-Rank gates open near you. Step through into procedurally built dungeons: lycan caves, an orc fortress, Igris's knights' hall, an ant nest and frozen halls. Clear waves, then beat the boss. Red Gates lock you in until the boss falls, and ignored gates cause Dungeon Breaks.
Monsters and bosses. Ten custom creatures, including Steel-Fanged Lycans, Kasaka, Kargalgan, the blood-red knight Igris and the Ant King. Each has its own attacks.
Job Change and the Shadow Army. At Level 10, take the Job Change trial against Igris to become the Shadow Monarch. Say "Arise" at fallen enemies to extract shadows that climb out of the ground with glowing eyes. They level up and come back after falling. Command named shadows like Igris, Beru, Tusk, Tank and Iron.
Items and sound. Kasaka's Venom Fang, Knight Killer, Kamish's Wrath, Magic Cores, Random Boxes, Holy Water and more. Custom sounds, including a deep "Arise" voice line.
Light on hardware. No shaders or extra libraries. Dungeons are built once and cleaned up, and the shadow count is capped.
Requirements: Minecraft 26.2, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, Fabric API. Java 25.
Install: drop both jars from the mods folder into your Fabric mods folder, or import the .mrpack into Modrinth App or Prism Launcher.
Controls: V Status, R Arise, G Army, Z/N/H/B/Y/U skills, J quest tracker.
