About this project

What does Sakalti2 add?

Sakalti2

Sakalti2 is a Tinkers' Construct-focused expansion that adds four custom materials and integrates them into the Tinkers' Construct material, fluid, melting, casting, tool-part, and equipment systems.

Materials

Sakalti2 currently adds four primary materials:

  • Osium
  • Ignitz
  • Auroreum
  • Trium

Each material has its own:

  • Material definition
  • Molten material fluid
  • Melting definition
  • Ore
  • Raw material
  • Ingot
  • Storage block
  • Smelting recipes
  • Melting recipes
  • Casting recipes
  • Tinkers' Construct tool-part casting recipes
  • Material-specific equipment support

Tinkers' Construct Integration

The materials are designed to work directly with the Tinkers' Construct smeltery and casting systems.

Melting

The following material forms can be processed into their corresponding molten material:

  • Ore
  • Raw material
  • Ingot
  • Block

This provides a complete progression from mined material to molten material.

Casting

Molten materials can be cast into standard material forms such as:

  • Ingots
  • Blocks

The molten materials are also used for Tinkers' Construct part casting.

Tool Part Casting

Sakalti2 provides casting recipes for a wide range of Tinkers' Construct parts, including:

  • Pickaxe Heads
  • Axe Heads
  • Small Axe Heads
  • Broad Axe Heads
  • Shovel Heads
  • Excavator Heads
  • Hammer Heads
  • Sword Blades
  • Broad Blades
  • Small Blades
  • Tool Handles
  • Tough Handles
  • Tool Bindings
  • Tough Bindings
  • Large Plates
  • Round Plates
  • Repair Kits

Both Casting Tables and Casting Basins are supported where appropriate.

Molten Material

Each material has a dedicated molten fluid with material-specific temperature settings.

The material system uses the standard Tinkers' Construct material-fluid and material-melting systems so that the molten form can participate in both casting and melting recipes.

Material costs are based on Tinkers' Construct's material-unit system, with one material unit corresponding to 144 mB.

Ores and World Generation

Sakalti2 includes custom ore generation for its materials.

The ores are registered separately and can be processed through the normal material progression:

Ore
 ↓
Raw Material
 ↓
Ingot
 ↓
Block

and through the Tinkers' Construct route:

Ore / Raw / Ingot / Block
          ↓
      Melting
          ↓
    Molten Material
          ↓
       Casting
          ↓
Tinkers' Construct Parts

Tools and Equipment

The materials are intended for use with Tinkers' Construct tools and tool parts rather than being limited to ordinary vanilla-style crafting.

The available part definitions allow the four materials to participate in the construction of a variety of tools and equipment.

Construct's Armory Support

Sakalti2 also provides armor texture resources for Construct's Armory.

Armor textures are placed under:

assets/constructsarmory/textures/models/armor/

This allows the material-specific armor textures to be loaded through Construct's Armory's expected resource location.

Additional Mod Features

The project also contains custom modifiers, including:

  • Auroreum Modifier
  • Melting Modifier
  • Unstable Modifier
  • Underpress Modifier

These provide additional functionality beyond the basic material system.

Compatibility

Sakalti2 is designed around the Minecraft 1.16.5 modding environment and integrates with Tinkers' Construct and related addons such as Construct's Armory.

The project uses standard Forge resource locations and JSON-based recipe definitions for its material processing and casting systems.
