Magersers' Upgrader

Turn the items you already have into a chance at a better reward.

Choose a stake from your inventory, select the item and quantity you want, review the exact chance, and spin the upgrade wheel. If the spin succeeds, the reward is delivered after the animation. If it fails, the stake is still consumed—every upgrade is a real risk.

There are no purchases, premium currencies, or real-money mechanics. The entire system uses normal in-game items.

New in 0.7.0: Forge and NeoForge

The current upgrade wheel, recipe-aware economy, inventory controls and all 22 translations are now available natively on Forge 1.20.1 / 1.19.2 and NeoForge 1.21.1 / 1.21. Fabric 0.6.5 remains available for 1.20.1 / 1.21.1.

The new ports include native loader networking, persistent delayed rewards, and energy/fluid capability checks. Choose your loader and Minecraft version in the Files tab; see the compatibility table below.

How it works

1. Open your inventory and press the green upgrade-arrow button, or use /upgrade in Survival mode.
2. Choose a stake from your main inventory, hotbar, or off-hand and set its quantity.
3. Search the reward catalog by localized name or item ID, then choose the reward quantity.
4. Check the displayed chance and spin.

The chance is calculated from the total value of the stake and the selected reward stack. A more valuable stake gives better odds, up to a 95% cap.

22 languages

Fabric 0.6.5 and the Forge/NeoForge 0.7.0 ports include 22 complete locale catalogs: English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Italian, Polish, Dutch, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi, and Thai.

Inventory controls, the reward catalog, item tooltips, result messages, server validation errors, and /upgrade hard / /upgrade audit feedback are translated. Unsupported languages fall back to English, and every multiplayer client sees the interface in its own selected language. Item tooltip numbers also follow the selected locale.

Fabric API: Fabric 1.20.1 requires 0.92.12+1.20.1 or a compatible newer 1.20.1 build. Fabric 1.21.1 requires 0.116.17+1.21.1 or a compatible newer 1.21.1 build. Forge and NeoForge builds do not require Fabric API.

1. Install the matching Minecraft version, loader and Java version.
2. Download the matching Upgrader JAR from this project's Files tab and place it in the mods folder.
3. Install the same Upgrader version on both the client and server. Single-player is supported through Minecraft's integrated server.
4. Start the game, open your inventory and press the upgrade arrow, or run /upgrade in Survival mode.

Install only one Upgrader JAR per instance. Forge, NeoForge and Fabric files are not interchangeable, and neither are files for different Minecraft versions. Back up your world before changing loaders; the ports do not migrate player data between loaders.

Modded items and modpacks

Upgrader reads supported recipes, tags, item attributes, and acquisition data from the installed game. It can carry material costs through ordinary crafting chains and supported modded processing systems instead of assigning every unknown item an arbitrary price.

Fabric 1.20.1 integration has been checked with BetterEnd, BetterNether, BCLib, TechReborn, and Hephaestus-related content. Custom machines, unusual NBT/components, hidden abilities, contextual loot, energy, or fluid recipes may need a datapack value profile or a dedicated adapter.

Forge and NeoForge provide native energy and fluid capability checks. The Fabric compatibility results above do not certify the same mods or complete modpacks on other loaders. Unusual machines and item data may still require custom balance profiles.

Administrators can run /upgrade audit to create a detailed price report. Balance data can be replaced or extended with datapacks and reloaded with /reload.

Tested upgrade flow

Both Forge 0.7.0 versions passed economy and localization checks, dedicated-server integration tests, and client rendering checks across all 22 languages. Connected-client tests performed three real upgrade spins on each version, checking wheel animation, one-time stake consumption and outcome-dependent inventory payouts. Separate server tests cover wins, losses, duplicate requests and reward recovery.

NeoForge 0.7.0 also passed dedicated-server, client-rendering and live multiplayer upgrade checks on both supported Minecraft versions. These checks cover the tested game setup; individual modpacks can require additional compatibility and balance testing.

Important notes

• Current release lines: 0.7.0 for Forge and NeoForge, and 0.6.5 for Fabric. Newly submitted files may take time to appear while CurseForge completes its review.
• Item names use translations supplied by Minecraft and their owning mods. Technical audit traces and datapack-authored diagnostic reasons retain their original text.
• The new Forge 0.7.0 ports include the current feature set described here. Historical Forge builds remain separate older releases. Always check the loader, Minecraft version and file version before downloading.

Created by Magersers. Releases starting with 0.6.4 use the Magersers Proprietary License — All Rights Reserved. Gameplay and private use are allowed; reuploads and distribution of modified versions require written permission. Modpack manifests may reference the official download.
