About this project

What does Sea Salvage add?

Floating timber, barrels and chests to salvage out on the open sea.

Patches of wreckage drift into view ahead of you as you sail — stacked planks and cut firewood you can scoop up from a moving boat, and barrels and chests you have to stop and open. Every patch carries a barrel or two; every eighth carries a chest, and one chest in ten is a strongbox worth going out of your way for. Containers come up full of kelp and seagrass with the good things strewn through it.

Wreckage stays where it settles while you're nearby and clears itself up once you've gone, so it never piles up in your save.

Everything is configurable: how common each kind of timber is, how far apart patches sit, how often chests turn up, and how long salvage sticks around. Comaptible with the Physics Mod Pro oceans! version tested: 171o
