About this project
What does G_Fox's Fragile add?
G-Fox's Fragile
A wound can change your entire expedition.
Fragile adds body-part health, injuries, medical treatment, and thirst to Minecraft. Prepare your supplies, choose when to treat your wounds, and decide whether to push deeper into a cave or return home.
Body-Part Health & Injuries
Your head, chest, abdomen, arms, and legs have separate health pools. Bleeding, fractures, and severely damaged limbs require different treatments.
Injured legs can slow you down, while injured arms can weaken your attacks and mining. Painkillers temporarily relieve injury penalties, but they do not repair the damage.
Check your condition through the compact HUD and the body-status panel in your inventory. A red screen-edge warning appears when head or chest health becomes dangerously low.
Medical Supplies & Treatment
Craft bandages, tourniquets, splints, first-aid kits, surgical kits, and medicines.
Use medical items directly or select a body part through the inventory health panel. Treatments feature first-person animations, and reusable supplies retain their remaining uses.
Surgery can restore eligible blacked-out body parts, but reduces their maximum health until you recover through sleep. Medicines offer temporary benefits, with food or hydration costs depending on the item.
Leather and cloth medical supplies can be dyed like leather armor. Mix dyes to create your own colors, or wash them off in a water cauldron.
Thirst & Water Quality
Manage hydration alongside hunger.
Clean water restores more hydration. Dirty water restores less and causes contamination, increasing thirst loss and adding nausea and abdominal damage. Milk removes contamination.
Purify dirty water using a furnace or campfire. Rain and dripstone can supply clean water to cauldrons, while mixing in dirty water contaminates the contents.
A Gentler Start on Easy
On Easy difficulty, automatic recovery begins after a damage-free period, and light bleeding clears faster. Serious injuries still require treatment.
Getting Started
