NeoForge 1.21.1 · Required on both client and server · English and Spanish

✦ Character progression

  • Player levels and prestige — earn XP from almost everything you do (mining, farming, fighting, crafting, smelting, fishing, breeding, enchanting…). Reach the cap and prestige for a permanent rank and more points per level.
  • Skill points — spend points on ten attributes: Life Force, Strength, Sorcery, Defense, Haste, Stamina, Flow, Discipline, Precision and Ferocity, with a full combat sheet (crit chance, crit damage, life steal, cooldown reduction, max mana…).
  • 12 races and 20 classes — each with innate passives, stat growth and class tiers to evolve into.
  • 80 active abilities and 24 weapon types — staves, wands, spellbooks, daggers, scythes, spears, gauntlets, rifles and more, bound to R / Z / X / V.
  • 73 augments — perks that change how you play, with rarities.
  • Fates — gear-like sets of stats you collect, upgrade and reroll.
  • Floating enemy health bars, with a distinct style for bosses.

✦ Masteries (Aurelium-style skills)

15 masteries that level as you play: Farming, Foraging, Mining, Fishing, Excavation, Archery, Defense, Fighting, Endurance, Agility, Alchemy, Enchanting, Sorcery, Healing and Forging.

  • 75 passive talents (Lucky Miner, Treasure Hunter, First Strike, Bleed, Revival…) that unlock and grow with each level.
  • 8 mana abilities: Replenish, Treecapitator, Speed Mine, Sharp Hook, Terraform, Charged Shot, Absorption and Lightning Blade.
  • Six stats (Health, Strength, Toughness, Regeneration, Luck, Wisdom) feed straight into your character.
  • A level-progression view with every reward, and a small XP popup in the corner as you gain experience.

✦ Skyrim-inspired systems

  • Journey menu (Tab) — Skills, Items (opens the vanilla inventory), Magic and Map in one elegant radial menu.
  • Magic — 5 schools (Destruction, Restoration, Alteration, Conjuration, Illusion) and 600+ spells: fire, frost and lightning, heals and wards, bound weapons, summoned atronachs and mobs, illusions, telekinesis and more. Cast from a dedicated magic slot, one spell per hand, or both for dual casting. Learn from spell tomes found in structure loot, dropped by mobs and sold by villagers.
  • World map and compass — explored terrain map, discovered locations, fast travel and a Skyrim-style compass bar.

✦ Unlimited stacks

The vanilla inventory, without the stack limit: every stackable item stacks up to 16.7 million per slot in your inventory, ender chest, chests, barrels, shulker boxes, hoppers, furnaces, minecart and boat chests and horse inventories. Big counts show abbreviated on the slot (1.2k, 16M). Tools, armor and potions still take one slot each.

✦ Map markers

Mark the world like in Genshin Impact or Breath of the Wild: 57 marker types in 6 categories (your home, iron, diamonds, spawners, villages, treasure…), with names, notes and colors. Filter them by category, search them in a list and fast travel to it. Track one and a GPS panel points the way with distance and height difference, and tells you when you arrive.

✦ Economy: Emerald Doubloons

  • Hostile mobs drop Emerald Doubloons, which go straight to your wallet and never take up inventory space.
  • Server shop — hundreds of items in categories, buy and sell in any amount, a dedicated sell screen for everything you carry, dynamic supply-and-demand prices, daily deals, favorites and transaction history. Items from other mods are bought and sold too ("Other mods" category), at prices derived from their value.
  • /balance, /pay, /baltop, /sell hand|all, plus admin commands.

✦ Bestiary

Every creature in the game (vanilla and modded) waits to be discovered: kill it, fight it or simply spot it nearby. The Bestiary tab tracks how many of each you have slain and how many times each one killed you, with a rotating 3D model, base stats, habitat, highest level slain and categories (Hostiles, Neutrals, Passives, Aquatic, Bosses, Nether, End). Kill milestones (10/50/100/500) grant Essence and a permanent +1% damage against that creature; discovering 25/50/75/100% of the bestiary grants Essence. /bestiary opens it.

✦ Adventure and multiplayer

  • Quests and a story campaign, with a quest journal and a tracker.
  • Gates and dungeons — gates open in the world for a limited time (they collapse if nobody enters) and lead to instanced dungeons to clear alone or with your party, and about one gate in four is a Roguelike gate: 2 to 7 procedurally generated floors (by rank) of locked rooms, 44 run-only relics, shops, secret rooms, keys and bombs, a boss on every floor and a reward chest at the end.
  • Leaderboards — compare levels and activity.
  • Guilds with ranks and a treasury, plus parties, chat modes, an inbox and a player card in the EvilMMO Link hub.
  • Essence, a soft currency earned from quests, salvage and dungeons, spent on fate upgrades and guild treasuries.
  • Health, Mana and Stamina potions in four tiers, plus Vital Elixirs that restore all three, from brewing stands, crafting, mob drops, structure loot, clerics and the shop.

✦ A new interface

  • One main hub (M) with every system in tabs: Profile, Skills, Masteries, Augments, Races, Classes, Gates, Dungeons, Fates, Bestiary, Campaign, Quests, Leaderboards, Help, Settings and the Shop.
  • A redesigned pause menu with your character, vitals, world info, tracked quests, active effects and quick links.
  • Clean HUD: health, mana and stamina bars, a level bar, and toasts you can toggle in Settings.
