About this project
What does Deep Industry add?
Deep Industry
Grow a small workshop into an automated industrial complex. Then build machines powerful, and dangerous, enough to deserve respect.
Progression in six stages
- Early engineering: crushers, electric furnaces, generators, cables, batteries and a connected storage network.
- Industrialization: steel and aluminium, a multiblock foundry with casting, solar, wind, geothermal and steam power, and a quarry.
- Precision engineering: powered tools, a modular exo-suit, jetpacks that fly on real thrust, and autocrafting through your actual machines.
- Nuclear: fission reactors with meltdowns and recovery, housed in containment rooms you build yourself.
- End engineering: fusion reactor, forcefields, precision miner, wireless storage and long-range logistics relays.
- Singularity: a black-hole generator held in graviton containment, fed with matter to make enormous power.
Highlights
- Big machines you can see from across your base: glowing reactors, a fusion beam lighting the sky, molten foundries.
- Containment that matters: breaches and failures spread through real openings in your walls. Destruction is configurable.
- Glass pipes and cables that show items, fluids and energy moving through them.
- Storage and autocrafting: plan any craft, see what's missing, and let your machines do the work.
- 3D armour, tools and jetpacks, plus sliding blast doors.
- Exploration: prospecting tools and abandoned facilities with loot.
- Field Manual: an in-game guide with live recipes and structure diagrams, and a Structure Planner to help you build.
