About this project
What does SilentWatcher add?
Silent Watcher is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). Something watches you from the treeline. Something knocks on your door at night. A tear in the air leads to five labyrinths, each with its own creature, and at the very end the thing that looks through everything is waiting.
In your world: The Watcher, The Visitor, The Hanged, and macabre events (staring animals, bloody footprints, your double, a giant eye in the sky, red rain).
The Rift and the 5 labyrinths: huge, seed-generated, with false walls, secret rooms and walls that move when you're not looking. The Rift is rarer and harder to stumble on, so finding one feels like it matters.
I – The Galleries: The Stitched hunts by sound.
II – The Dark (new, bigger): no lights but your oil lantern, and oil is counted. The Mimic wears your skin and a wrong face; it stalks you like a legend from the dark and does things of its own: it builds a netherrack-and-torch sign in your path, opens and closes doors, turns its back on you, and creeps up behind you to lick your neck if you don't turn around. The Gloom Roach is a giant, greasy cockroach that lives in the maze, climbs walls and ceilings, drops on you from above and bites when you aren't looking, light or no light. It is strong, but it can die, and another one will come.
III – The Archive of Webs: The Weaver and The Archivist.
IV – The Foundry: The Jailer.
V – The Flesh: The Choir.
The boss, That Which Looks Through: 3 phases, the Gaze, teleports, summoned spiders.
New in this version
Labyrinth II, the Dark, rebuilt: wider corridors and taller ceilings (same scale as the Foundry), harder layout, rarer oil, no hand-holding.
New creature: the Gloom Roach. The Mimic has many more behaviors of its own.
Every creature has a brand-new set of animations (doors, passages and crouches fixed), and the Rift generates less often in the Overworld.
Real jumpscares: every creature has its own model, animations and jumpscare. Creatures chase and attack you, and the scare comes when you least expect it.
Story in books, notes and memories, in English and Portuguese.
Requirements: Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.x, GeckoLib 4.4.x.
Note for existing worlds: rename the dimensions/silentwatcher folder inside your world so the labyrinths regenerate with the new layout.

Coming soon: new creatures, new labyrinths, more macabre events and more story. Follow the project!
Some bugs may occur, as the mod is still in Beta. If you find any bugs, please let me know in the comments.
