Add sweet chonky guhs to Minecraft!

Meet the guh: a chubby pink plush mouse that is very, very chonky (and that's the best compliment a guh can get). Guhs waddle around every overworld biome in all sizes, from pocket-sized to three blocks long. Give one some Cheese Nibbles, and it's yours forever.

Then build a portal out of Blocks of Cheese Nibbles and step into the Guhmension: a whole pink world full of guhs, cheese-sauce rivers, cozy towns, minigames and little stories.

Guhs are always friendly. The grumpiest guh of all, Mika, only shoves you a bit.

What you can do

• 🐭 Tame, pet, cuddle and ride your guhs. A tap pets your guh (it squishes flat with happiness!). Name them, pick them up, put a saddle on the big ones, and hold right-click for the guh menu: sit, behavior, emotes, sounds, wardrobe and a diary.
• 💕 Become best friends. Every guh has a heart meter with you (up to soulguh bff 5evr <3), eight secret favorites to discover, and guh friends of its own.
• 🏠 Guh Houses. Houses shaped like a guh head, where your guhs live, sleep and do chores for you: farming, fishing, tidying, baking, lighting lamps and more.
• 👒 150+ clothes in seven slots: hats, glasses, ears, hair, jackets, backpacks. Unlock a piece once and every one of your guhs can wear it.
• 📖 The Guhdex. Collect 20+ guh variants (Mint, Choco, Ghost, Starry, Rainbow, Golden, Pinguh, a flying Ender guh, a swimming Merguh…) and all the critters and characters you meet.
• 🌸 The Guhmension. Pink hills and many biomes: cozy Snuggledale, the icy Guh Polder, tropical Guhwai'i, a snowy tundra, deep guh seas, cheese caves, a bubbling cheese swamp and giant guh forests.
• 🏰 Places to discover. Guh villages with guh villagers, the Guhland theme park, a guh castle with a King Guh, a fair with a real sled coaster, floating islands, a pink pyramid… and a Super Compass to find them.
• 🎮 More than twenty minigames, each with its own building, host guh, coins, shop, outfit and world top-3: racing, golf, disco, fishing, a hedge maze, a catapult, a skating tour past eleven villages, a kart circuit, surfing, hula, baking and more.
• 📜 Four stories with characters, conversations and a special story guh to tame at the end: a medicine sled ride through a snowstorm, a clone-island lab, a chapel in the clouds that brings lost guhs back, and a tropical ohana island.
• 🌋 Three more dimensions: your own Guhbelly (a pocket dimension inside a giant guh), the fiery Guhbarbecuether, and the endgame Guh End, where Overlord Mika has stolen every cheese nibble in the kingdom.
• 🐤 Tiny critters: squeaksqueak mice, plush turtles, birds, ducklings, bunnies, hedgehogs, squirrels, guhxolotls…
• 🧀 Handy blocks: the Bank Guh (infinite storage with search and crafting), the Guh Wheel and Guh Wire for redstone, the Wild Guh Shoo-Sign (wild guhs see it and know a chonky lives here already, so they cuddle somewhere else), a frying pan, sled rails, furniture and lots of decoration.
• ✅ FTB Quests support: with FTB Quests installed, a Guhs chapter group (13 chapters, 700+ quests) installs itself, in English and Dutch.

English and Dutch 🇬🇧 🇳🇱

New in 1.2.0: the whole mod is in English and in Dutch, full of guh puns in both languages. Items, menus, the Guhdex, dialogues, advancements, the FTB quest book, and even the signs and books in the buildings.

• Auto (the default) follows your Minecraft language: Dutch when Minecraft is in Dutch, English for every other language.
• The first time you join a world or server, Guhs asks which language you want: Nederlands, English or Automatic.
• Change it any time with the Lang button under your Guhdex, or set Guhs language in the mod's settings (Mods → Guhs → Config): Auto, NL or EN.
• Every player chooses for themselves, also on a server.

Good to know

• Start a new world to see everything.
• Install Guhs on both the server and every client.
• The wiki is in English and Dutch too.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.1.2 (Guhs 1.1.0 and newer) · the first release 1.0.0 is also available for Minecraft 1.21.1 (in Dutch only)
• NeoForge 26.1.2 · Java 25
• GeckoLib 5.5.2 or newer (required)
• Optional: FTB Quests (quest chapters), JEI, Jade
• Recommended for servers: Lootr, so every player gets their own loot from structure chests.

Modpacks & videos

✔️ You may use Guhs in any modpack, and make videos and streams about it (monetized is fine). A link back is appreciated. Please don't re-upload the mod on its own.
