About this project

What does The Swift - Fan-Made Sift add?

The Swift — Minecraft Sift Dimension Mod

The Swift is CreativeMode's fan-made take on the Sift for Minecraft Java Edition. Open a musical portal and explore pink meadows, white willow forests, rainbow ichor and aurora skies.

Explore the Swift

  • Seven landscapes: Singer's Meadow, Wild Meadows, Lullaby Hills, Sifter Canyon, Humbler Huskland, Ichor Pools and the underground Ravines. Discover floating islands, white willow forests, deep chasms and towering rock formations.
  • 27 creatures: befriend blubs, carry a tuner, tame a prickle and meet the sifters and sculkers. Challenge the Monarch, Harmonizer and Twisted Warden, plus the Dartback mini-boss.
  • Six encounter structures: Lullaby Circles, humbler husks, Echo Dens, Sculker Nests, Illager Soul Excavations and Dartback Arenas. The Twisted Warden guards ancient-city portal frames in the Overworld.
  • Three tides: Thrive recharges placed Drained Soul Blocks and speeds up golem pulses; Flow is the quiet transition; Endure stops the pulses and brings soul-corrupted monsters. In the Swift, dormant golems wake only during Thrive.
  • Build with white willow, Swiftstone, Tidestone and blush sandstone. Earn the Lullaby music disc and turn a diamond spear into a Spectral Spear by dropping it into ichor.

Getting there and back

In the Overworld, play five different note-block pitches near a reinforced deepslate frame within 12 seconds. Awake echo golems can contribute notes, and a nearby Singer can open the portal too. A return gate waits in the Swift; if it goes dark, gather four awake echo golems nearby during Thrive to relight it.

Use a Soul Block or give a Singer an Echo Shard to open a temporary rift. Natural rifts also appear in the Overworld at night. A rift home remembers where you entered through a rift, or returns you to your Overworld spawn if you came another way. Beds and respawn anchors do not work in the Swift.

Install for Java Edition

  1. Choose Minecraft 26.1 or 26.3 and install Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Java 25.
  2. Install Fabric API 0.145.1+26.1 for Minecraft 26.1, or 0.161.0+26.3 for Minecraft 26.3, or a compatible newer Fabric API for that same game version.
  3. Put the matching Swift jar in your mods folder. For multiplayer, install the Swift and Fabric API on the server and each player's client.

The 26.1 jar targets exactly 26.1; use the separate 26.3 jar for 26.3. These are Fabric builds. Java includes flowing ichor, a separate dimension clock, native advancements, and white willow signs, hanging signs, shelves and boats. Shaders are optional and are not included.

Updating an existing world

Back up your world before updating. New terrain and structures need unexplored chunks or a new world. The Sculk Monstrosity, Sculk Cube and their spawn eggs are removed without a replacement migration. The Monstrosity Lair and Harmonizer Grove no longer generate; Harmonizers now spawn naturally. Soul Blocks open rifts instead of granting the old personal soul powers. Renamed content that remains in the mod keeps its existing IDs.
