About this project

What does npc FUNSION (DRAGONMINEZ) add?

NPC Fusion

**An addon for DragonMineZ that lets you fuse with NPCs — because fusion shouldn't need a friend online.**

[ENGLISH]

The gap this fills

DragonMineZ already has fusion: Metamoru (the Fusion Dance) and Potara. Both of them need

**two players online at the same time, in the same place**. If you play singleplayer, or

your server emptied out because your friends stopped logging in, that entire half of the

mod is content you will never once get to use.

NPC Fusion gives you the other side of it. Every NPC DragonMineZ already puts in your

world — Master Roshi, King Kai, Piccolo, the saga bosses, the quest NPCs — becomes a

fusion partner.

Two ways to fuse

**Fusion Dance** — free, no item needed.

Walk up to any DragonMineZ NPC, empty your main hand, crouch and right-click it. Then

**keep holding crouch**. Purple and gold energy spirals around the two of you, a chime

rises in pitch, and after three and a half seconds the fusion snaps shut.

It can fail, and that is the point. Stand up, walk more than four blocks away, or take a

single hit mid-dance and the whole thing breaks and you have to start over. Fusing in the

middle of a fight is a real gamble.

Lasts **10 minutes**.

**NPC Potara** — a craftable earring (3 gold ingots, 1 amethyst shard, 1 eye of ender).

Right-click an NPC while holding it and you fuse instantly. No dance, no window for

anything to interrupt you, nothing to hold. The earring is consumed.

Lasts **30 minutes**.

Either way, there is a **5 minute cooldown** afterwards before you can fuse again.

What it actually looks and feels like

While you are fused:

  • **Your name changes.** It is the two names blended together, the way Vegetto and Gotenks

work. Nkiko + Master Goku becomes **Nkikoku**. Nkiko + Perfect Cell becomes

**Nkikell**. It shows above your head, in chat, and in the tab list — and other players

on the server see it too, not just you.

  • **Your character changes color.** Body, hair and aura get mixed with a color that belongs

to that specific NPC type, so fusing with Frieza does not look like fusing with Krillin.

One of your eyes turns the partner's color and the other stays yours, like Fused Zamasu.

  • **A timer sits in the top-right corner** showing your fusion name and how long is left,

and it warns you in chat ten seconds before it breaks.

Your original appearance is saved before anything is touched and put back at the end.

The power you get is scaled to who you fused with

This is not a flat buff. The bonus is a **fraction of your own stats**, worked out from the

partner's battle power divided by yours, clamped between 10% and 100%, then multiplied by

0.75.

In practice:

  • Fusing with **Master Roshi when you are already strong** barely moves the needle. He is

not going to carry you.

  • Fusing with **Perfect Cell** gives you a lot — but it is capped, so you do not come out

the other side untouchable and bored.

  • Fusing with something far above you is worth doing **early**, when the gap is biggest.

The bonus is applied to STR, SKP, RES, PWR, VIT and ENE through DragonMineZ's own bonus

system, so it shows up on its stat screens, feeds into your battle power, and your max

health updates immediately instead of after a relog.

Because it scales off a ratio instead of a hardcoded table, it keeps working sensibly when

DragonMineZ rebalances its numbers, and no single NPC becomes the mandatory one to farm.

Your partner is not deleted

The NPC is stored whole — health, gear, name, everything — and **put back into the world

next to you** when the fusion ends, exactly as it was. It will not attack you for 15

seconds after it reappears, so you do not get jumped the instant you split.

The fusion ends when the timer runs out, when you run /npcfusion end, when you die, or

when a real DragonMineZ player-to-player fusion takes over. All four paths return the NPC.

It also survives logging out: the fusion is stored on your character, the NPC travels

inside it, and both are still there when you come back.

Commands

| Command | What it does |

|---|---|

| /npcfusion status | Your current fusion and the time left |

| /npcfusion end | Split apart right now |

| /npcfusion nearby | Lists every valid fusion partner within 16 blocks, with distances |

| /npcfusion restore | Safety valve — puts your saved appearance back if it ever got stuck |

Configurable

Everything above is a number in config/npcfusion-server.toml: both durations, the

cooldown, the dance length, the range, how much power fusion gives, whether your colors

change at all, and whether the NPC comes back.

You also control **who counts as a partner**. By default it is every DragonMineZ NPC except

the things that make no sense (dinosaurs, Nimbus clouds, ki projectiles, the punch machine).

Set allow_any_mob = true and you can fuse with anything alive, vanilla mobs and other

mods included. Androids cannot fuse, matching DragonMineZ's own rule — and that is a toggle

too.

Requirements

  • Minecraft **1.20.1**

  • Forge **47+**

  • **DragonMineZ 2.1+** — required. The game will not start without it.

Fundir no

1 olho do end).

O poder é proporcional a quem fundiste

socos).

Requisitos

  • Minecraft **1.20.1**

  • Forge **47+**

  • **DragonMineZ 2.1+** — obrigatório. O jogo não arranca sem ele.
