About this project

What does Fancy Clouds Backport add?

Backports the cloud renderer introduced in Minecraft 1.21.6 to 1.20.1 so resource packs using the new cloud shaders and post-processing work. Fluffy Fancy Clouds or Story Mode Clouds resourcepack are just examples.

Requires Fabulous graphics to be enabled or Fancy if Embeddium is installed.

Additionally, adds configurable (from mod menu) cloud render distance (4 to 128 chunks).

Some packs might need manual editing because 1.20.1 does not support overlay directories and for example, Story Mode Clouds is using this feature and will not work out of the box.
