About this project
What does Iron Expanded add?
𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃
Iron Expanded is my version of Iron Chests, Iron Furnaces, and Iron Bows, all put together into one mod.
I wanted to take the idea behind those mods and make my own version with better progression, balancing, textures, and some extra features while still keeping everything feeling like normal Minecraft.
𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐒
Chests can be upgraded into better tiers that give you more storage as you progress. Instead of filling your base with a ton of normal chests, you can upgrade the ones you already have as you get better materials.
𝐅𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒
Furnaces have upgrade tiers too. Better furnaces smelt faster and make upgrading actually useful later into a world.
𝐁𝐎𝐖𝐒
Bows now have different material tiers instead of being stuck with the same bow for the entire game. Better bows can have improved durability, draw speed, and other small advantages depending on the tier.
𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐌 𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑
I don't want Iron Expanded to completely change Minecraft or add a bunch of random stuff that doesn't fit.
The point is just to expand things that already exist and give them the same kind of progression that tools and armor have.
I'll probably keep adding and reworking things as the mod gets updated.
