About this project

What does Farm hand add?

Tired of sprinting between six crop plots like a caffeinated chicken? Farmhand brings in the machines and unlike your last farmhand, these ones never ask for a lunch break.

Your new farm crew

Growpost

A little field monitor you plonk down next to your crops. Give it a name, set how far it should look, and tell it how ripe is "ripe enough". When your field hits the mark, it pings you with a tidy little message and it knows the difference between "almost there" and "actually ready", so it won't spam you.

It can also protect your farmland from being trampled (yes, we saw you land on your own carrots) and team up with the Growth Lamp below.

Growth Lamp

A glow-in-the-jade lamp that gently nudges your crops along. Right-click to switch it on or off. When it's paired with a Growpost and the whole field is ripe, the lamp takes a nap and stops wasting its energy then wakes up the moment you harvest. It's considerate like that.

Chicken Coop

A tidy little nest box that hoovers up dropped eggs and feathers for you. Open it up to see your collection and flip egg-hatching on or off per coop. Eggs hatch in a few seconds flat no mystery dice rolls. Just give it a little breathing room; it doesn't like being boxed in.

Pasture Feeder

A trough that actually shows the food you put in it, because apparently even virtual animals like a nice-looking dinner table. Load it with mixed breeding foods and the local lovebirds will pair up for you though it politely waits for anyone who's already smitten.

Planter's Satchel

A nine-slot seed bag that remembers your seeds so your pockets don't have to. Use it in the air to open it up, or use it on farmland to plant a whole patch in one go. It'll even borrow seeds from your inventory if the bag runs dry, and give any nearby Growpost a wake-up nudge so your lamps spring back to life.

Good to know

  • Everything lives in its own Farmhand creative tab, satchel included.
  • Right-click coops, feeders and Growposts to poke at their settings.
  • Built for patient farmers and impatient ones alike.
