About this project
What does Parallel Worlds by leprpht add?
Parallel Worlds
Parallel Worlds adds a collection of parallel dimensions based on different biomes. Each biome has its own portal design, allowing you to build and activate portals that lead to a dedicated world generated around that biome.
Features
50+ parallel dimensions based on different biomes
Biome-specific portal designs using blocks associated with each biome
Custom portal activation — build the correct frame and activate it to open the portal
Dedicated dimensions for each supported biome
Two-way travel between the Overworld and parallel dimensions
Multiple portal orientations — portals can be built facing different directions
Persistent dimensions that behave as normal saved worlds
Supports environments ranging from forests, plains, mountains, oceans, and deserts to caves and other specialized biomes
How It Works
Each supported biome is associated with a portal design and a parallel dimension.
Build the required portal frame using the blocks specified by that biome's design. Once the frame is complete and activated, a portal opens inside the frame.
Entering the portal takes you to the corresponding parallel dimension, where the world is generated using that biome.
For example, a portal built using the Snowy Plains design takes you to the Snowy Plains parallel dimension, while a portal built using the Bamboo Jungle design takes you to the Bamboo Jungle parallel dimension.

Portal Designs
Every supported biome has a corresponding portal design. Portal frames are made from a specific arrangement of blocks associated with that biome.
The portal system recognizes the frame based on its block composition rather than the exact block states, allowing blocks such as logs to work regardless of their orientation.
Portals can also be constructed in different horizontal orientations.
Dimensions
Each parallel world is registered as its own dimension. This means each biome has a separate world that can be explored and developed independently.
The dimensions are persistent: terrain, structures, player activity, and changes made to the world are saved normally.
Exploration
Parallel Worlds is intended to make biome-focused exploration more accessible. Instead of searching through the Overworld for a particular biome, you can construct the corresponding portal and travel directly to its parallel dimension.
Use the different portal designs to create a network of destinations and explore the full range of environments available in the mod.
Current Version
Parallel Worlds is currently available as version 1.0.0.
This is the first stable release of the mod.
