About this project
What does Cosmic Blasphemy add?
MAJOR WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
While nothing in the mod should cause any form of world corruption, this mod is in its very early stages.
Cosmic Blasphemy
A unique magic mod inspired by Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and set in the H.P. Lovecraft extended mythos.
- Explore the world, raiding the temples of the devout worshipers of Shub-Niggurath, Dagon, Yog-Sothoth, and Hastur.
- Take the knowledge gleaned from their temples to construct the true Necronomicon and draw upon the power of Azathoth.
- Learn the Words of Power to craft spells and constructs.
Drawing upon the Primordial Gods is a dangerous task...
- Choose whether or not you will heed the warnings issued by Cthulhu
- Ultimately team up with Cthulhu and his siblings to fix your mistakes
Important READ BEFORE PLAYING
The final encounter has a 30 minute time limit. By default, when running on a server, failing this encounter will teleport all online players into a purgatory dimension and reset the entire server back to its original state. This behavior is determined by a config setting. If you're playing Cosmic Blasphemy on a server and do not want the risk of an entire server reset, then be sure to change the "AzathothAwakens" setting in the config files. I am not responsible for servers reset by this setting. When playing single-player, upon first launching your world, you will receive a dialog requiring you to specify which mode you want to use.
