Tremor
The ground is listening. Something crawls beneath it, hunting you by your footsteps. Sneak, freeze — or be swallowed.

Where it goes
Is Tremor required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does Tremor 1.2.1 (Forge 1.20.1) need?
Tremor 1.2.1 (Forge 1.20.1). Change the file and its required mods may change too.
This file does not list any required mods. Do not add a library just because a different file uses it.
2 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Tremor add?
The ground itself is listening.
Something vast lives beneath the surface of your world. You will never see it, only the ground it moves: a mound that crawls through grass, stone and the walls of caves, rising and falling as it follows every vibration you make.

It hears you through the earth
- Every step, jump, mined block and landing arrow sends a vibration through the ground. Stone carries it far, sand and gravel less, wool and carpets almost not at all. Leaves rustle.
- Sneak, and your steps are silent. Stand still, and you are nothing.
- When it grows wary it freezes and sends rings of ripples across the ground: it is listening. Move now, and it knows where you are.
- Hunting, it is fast. Angered to the peak, it does not stop until it reaches you, or loses you.
The Awakening

If it reaches you at the peak of its anger, the whole area around you becomes the creature. The world goes silent, the ground breathes, and you have seconds to get away before the earth swallows you.
What waits inside is yours to find out. Find its heart before the ground closes in, or the world will be left with a crater where you stood.
Things made from the creature
Survive, and you may carry a piece of it out. Its shards make tools to sense it: a seismograph whose needle points at it, a geophone that wakes your redstone when it comes near, and boots that muffle your steps.
And never, ever throw a shard on the ground.
Also

- Animals and monsters are not safe either.
- It roams the Nether too, and it is angrier there.
- Works in multiplayer (install on the server and on every client).
- Works with Sodium and Iris. A quality preset (Low / Medium / High) keeps it smooth on weaker computers.
- Everything is configurable: hearing, anger, the Awakening, the hollow, the crater, the tools.
Requires NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
